The standalone stuff from DC are the only ones I'm looking forward to... I am NOT looking forward to the goofy ahh looking superdog with a freaking cape and superpowers... It's gonna be made for goldfish like MCU films. They're gonna be cutting away from emotional scenes to wink at the camera with some painfully unfunny "joke". buUuT aKshUaLyY iTs kRyPtOn ☝️🤓 YES, I know. It's silly nonsense for the comic books. Not for the films. Geeks don't understand comic books to films translation. Their favourite superhero films probably have a lot of geek stuff left out of it

Fair enough! That’s the beauty of these things in my opinion. Not everything is for everyone. And your point about comic books is absolute true. A lot of things don’t translate well to a different medium. Even if they did, comic book fans will argue for hours over creative decisions there as well. Appreciate your comment :)

@TheNerdLedger Not hating on you btw! Just talking in general. Kinda dislike how fans got more say through the years. Movies were better when fans, who don't know anything about filmmaking, didn't have a say in the process. The more comic book accurate the films became, the worse they got in my opinion. Man of Steel didn't have silly red underwear. They knew it wouldn't work. He was also a new Superman, flawed... And fans didn't take that well while it's one of the best superhero films in my opinion. Action scenes that have yet to be topped, honestly. They dared to have a fight scene in the middle of a city. Now it's always in some deserted boring locations, in space, in the air, etc. Dark Knight trilogy, Raimi trilogy, even ASM1. Translated the books to the film well. But then fans complained and we got the godawful ASM2 suit, because it's cOmiC bOok ACcuRaTe... Still, i liked The Suicide Squad, but that wasn't meant to be serious. It would be a mistake to treat Superman the same. I can't get over Krypton lmao sigh...

⁠⁠no worries, I don’t take it personally. I love to hear other people’s ideas and perspectives. I quite liked man of steel as well for what it was. And I agree, fans have way too much influence. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn’t. One of the problems with trying to be too mass appeal is that at a certain point the movies fail to appeal to anyone. Much love man ❤

The overwhelming majority of people are incredibly satisfied with the movie from what I’ve seen. We all look at things a little differently based on our own perspectives which is great and opens minds with discussions. I love how many people loved the movie. I loved the movie. I appreciate the engagement <3

Hopefully these dudes don't end up homeless, after basically saying what"I was thinking of abandoning my dog a couple or 3 times) dudes voice sounds calm, caring, the thing people don't understand is dogs at the shelter have been traumatized, the thing neither of these soulless, empathy lacking, creeps don't understand is that acting like your knowledge on dogs and adoption is something that you need to share on your podcast shows just how much knowledge you have on dogs and probably mostly everything else you KNOW and that's nothing, nada, zero! Hey how's your mom and dad doing, girlfriend, your new German Shepherd, dude I don't know it's like they abandoned me. 😭

Appreciate the comment. Personally, abandoning a dog to me is never an option. People get dogs they can’t handle or afford and that is my point, those people shouldn’t have dogs but get them anyway. We talk about many things and not everyone will agree which is great. Disagreement can open minds and moves things forward.

Nerd Ledger, I looked and read my original comment, and I went way to deep saying "your creeps and empathy lacking blah, blah" and was SMH about my original comment. The fact that you were not only respectful and mature, but broke down that having a discussion is how we learn about all kinds of possibilities. Sincerely appreciate you for making me realize I lacked respect & maturity in my OC that's (original comment)but you smell what I'm stepping in! the thing that makes me really hate She Hulk is how condecending and cold she is towards Bruce, when in the comics she was one of the most suporting people in his life. it seems that men and women can't have healthy relationships outside of romantic or father-daughter relationships in midia
