A ese nivel lo único que puedes afirmar es que estilo te gusta más, está más que claro que cualquiera de los dos puede tocar lo que quiera. En lo personal me inclino por Marty, su manera de hacer solos juega más con mis emociones, Steve juega más por el lado del virtuosismo, incluso pienso que su solo no hace tanta sinergia con la guitarra rítmica de la canción que está tocando Marty.

この動画は約２ヶ月後の様子を撮ったものです。震災当時は沖の方から黒い水が堤防から越水し、漁船や車等が押し流してしまいました。私は別の動画で見た限り、著しく恐ろしい地獄絵図を見ているかの様な感じが致しました。多数の被害に遭われた方々には哀悼の意を表します。

Looks like they're playing a bad joke to one another! Marty telling Steve: no pressure just improvising; while delivering a phenomenal "hold the line" solo cover. And Steve telling Marty: look how I'm mimicking you; while actually doing more of a mustaine-like solo. Anyway, happy to see they get along. My favorites: I grew up with Steve as a child and with Marty as a teenager. Love them both, incredible musicians.

Just noise compared to Luke. The melody is lost in the shredding. Luke shred because he had to show the other guy he could shred. But as Luke always says it's all about composing.

これ、私も見に行きました。 たまたまCountry clubの近くに住んでいて実はRacer Xを見に行くつもりだったら前座が日本から来るBandだったのでどんなBandなんだろう？と思ってTower recordに行ったらANTHEMが売ってたのでそこで初めて買って知りました。

Tight Rope でおお！と思い、Bound To Break でAnthem大好きになった当時高校生の私にとって、柴田さん、ヒロヤ、エイゾー、MADこそがAnthemでした。このLAライブ盤を出した後にエイゾーが抜けて私のAnthem熱も一気に冷めました。1994年に久々ベストアルバムを聴いて後のAnthemの良さが分かり、慌ててHunting Time ,Gypsy Ways を買いました。

Please note that Marty's awesome solo on Hold The Line was basically noodling around the real Lukather solo. Of course it sounded more coherent, it was based on the real, recorded solo! Luke just played some fast noodly stuff (proving to be the incredible guitarist he is). If anything, they both proved to be fantastic and Lukather impressed me more.

Luke has the edge because he's learned from Carlton ritenour graydon and the uk guitarists like Beck page Clapton! Hes a huge Hendrix fan! His session work has made him more versatile! No offence to the other guitarist!
