A tip for this is to make sure you place clotheslines at a height at least 10-30cm above your head height and not level with your eyes… saves your back in the future :)

also...why would you sand something that is wet!! he does not wait until it is dry to sand the initial patch....now that I think about it, pretty bad instructions....

While I can agree with the method...the drying times are complete rubbish!! yes couple hours if hole/crack is small and its a dry hot summer day.....otherwise at least 24 hours!! some of the products out there are absolute rubbish and do not dry at all!!

To anyone attempting this put a strongback on the top of your joists b4 you cut them so they don't sag after you cut them. A strongback is a peice of dimensional lumber layed vertical like a spine so the joists your not cutting will hold the ones you cut in place until you install your headers.

only needed good clean and a re-grout, modern fixtures and paint...people are crazy. Tiles haven't changed for decades.

I keep a stud finder in my pocket so it's always handy and the dam thing is constantly beeping. I'm no sparky, but isn't running a device like this with the wire looped over and over a hazard because it basically creates a transformer?
