I'm a huge fan of Nomos and I like the long lugs. For me, it's part of the design appeal. I'm eyeing the Club Neomatic in 39mm. What a beauty. I'm really not a bracelet guy and for me it's a departure for that look, but I use a strap with it too. So, the best of both worlds. Curious about your wrist size. Maybe you mentioned it, if you did, sorry for asking :-)

What type is the navy one?

Samurai are hand down my favourite Japanese demin - but yes, you need to remember they are made to Japanese patterns and tend to fit slimmer profile figures, so you need to size up. As regards stretching, I think they give in a centimetre or so after a wash, but you cant really hope they stretch to your size if they feel small. How did these turn out size wise?

I think the size looks ok but my wife (and her female friends) says the size is too feminine looking. If I have to convince them it’s not feminine then I’ve already lost the battle

This is my favorite watch in my collection and I never expected it. You nailed it, it’s perfect for everything, and it’s always set!

I don’t think this model is underrated. In fact, I think it was overpriced at launch. It’s a basic three-hander with an SW200 movement, a brushed case, and a printed dial that feels like a mediocre, rushed release from Breitling. That said, I’d consider owning one as a daily grab-and-go watch if the price were $2500-ish.

Think they do the JLC in 36mm now :)

Your opinion makes sense. But I will keep shopping at official stores. Many second-hand shops have poor service, which always disappoints me.(like supermarket!) I want to value the experience of buying the few luxury items I can afford.

I really like that watch. I like it a lot. If Cartier took out that date window, made it 10bar and perhaps made the case a touch larger, I'd buy it. I would! That would be a winner of a watch. The Tank Franchise would come across as far more robust and even push itself into an alternative to an Explorer. Cartier should listen to me.

I had the JLC Ultra Thin Moon 39 and I totally agree: one of the most beautiful watches! But also, as you mentioned, it wears quite big so I had to let it go from my 16.5 cm wrist. Now there is it 37 cm version (promoted as the female version). That might do it finally!

Omega's pretentious, ridiculous, useless, annoying 10 o'clock He escape valve has always been a deal breaker for me. No way.

Is this watch already discontinued? Can I find this Huckberry Timex Ironman Flix brand new in Amazon and eBay? I would buy that as my second Timex watch after I can find and purchase the James Brand Timex Ironman.

Buy anything on an integrated bracelet, particularly anything expensive, make sure it's "True Love", as you're married to that bracelet for ever!

I must admit none of those were on my to buy list until your video. I settled down in my mind that a classic Seamaster in blue would be my ideal but your nttd changed my thoughts. Oh and the Alpine eagle - 🤤🤤. I had all but dismissed Panerai until your video too.

I refuse to buy a watch without a Tfit on the fly adjustment. For that kind of money they should have a Tfit bracelet

Ever since the terrible Cubitus launch, in London there's a feeling that the integrated watch concept has been permanently damaged. People who I know have PPNs and APROs are wearing dressier gold watches. Also people are wearing less showy watches all round. Every Rolex dealer now has almost all the PM models available immediately, apart from the platinums. I think the world market is getting more fragmented.

The IWC Ingenieur is waaay overpriced. For about $10K less you can get the B&M Rivera, which is essentially, the same watch in many ways as the Ingenieur. For example, both B&M and IWC are both under the Richemont Group, both us the a movement based on the same ETA movement (I forgot which ETA),and both have similar designs/looks based on Gerald Genta. Look and see what the Timeteller has to say about both pieces for more details.

Loved seeing you get hands on with the JLC Master Control Ultra Thin Moonphase. That and the grey polaris are my two favorite JLCs. Would love to see a review of the grey polaris!

That Panerai is incredible.

if money is no object i would go for JLC for its timeless classic design. the rest is fabulous but that JLC to me is more than fabulous.
