We're all probably from the first generations in humanity's history that can dip back into the past like this -- complete with sound and high quality video. I wonder if it'd be better if we couldn't.

I bought this car for the wife in 1981 with 4,900 miles on the odometer. It was a "Niel Lehr Cadillac" dealer demo in new condition. The dealer ordered the car with the wire hub caps as well. If the car had the "wire spoke" wheels, I would not have purchased the car. These Cadillac wire hubcaps look better than real wire wheels.

I first came to NYC at, age 10, in the summer of 1999. I remembered it being fun, glamorous, and exciting. Then, in 2007, I moved to the city for college, and lived here ever since. Today, in 2024, the city looks depressing and not the same anymore. Technology, social media, and the Covid pandemic changed everything. I wish the city we used to love would come back.

When I got fired, I was blindsided. He is (He’s) a great worker. He always goes above and beyond in his job. I am (I’m) underpaid. The (An) athlete exceeded all expectations by breaking the world record. The company’s profits exceeded last year’s earnings by 20%. That performance was excellent. It exceeded my expectations. Just as a side note, the deadline is on Friday. Before we move on, I would like to mention a side note. In a job interview, it is (It’s) important to lead with your strengths. When presenting your proposal, lead with the most compelling data. She is (she’s) open to new ideas and suggestions. Are you open to trying a different approach? Despite her qualifications, she feels underpaid compared to her colleagues. I’m overworked and underpaid. The ten-year-old boy is taller than his peers. Most of his peers are retired, but he is (he’s) still working.Teenagers are usually very influenced by their peers. That scientist is respected by all of his peers. He always goes above and beyond in his job. The company rewards its employees who consistently above and beyond. I am ( I’m) ready to take on the challenge. I think you are ( you’re) taking on too much work. You are (You’re) talking on too many responsibilities. He decided to take on the role of a team leader. I am ( I’m) ready to take you on in a game of chess. I am (I’m) willing to take on the new project. Her experience makes her a valuable asset to the team. Good communication skills are an asset to any profession. If you need any assistance, do not (don’t) hesitate to make your requests known. She made her requests known during the meeting. Bringing up the top during the meeting caught everybody off-guard. When he suddenly quit his job, he caught the company’s management off-guard. I did not (didn’t) expect, I was really off-guard. I was blindsided. You should prepare people in advance in order to blindsiding them. Business is better than we anticipated. Anticipating a lot of traffic, I left for work early. His ask approved by the management. She made bold ask when she asked for a big raise. During the debate, each person had a chance to say their piece. I finally had the opportunity to say my piece on the controversial issue. I hope I get a chance to say my piece at the meeting. I did not ( didn’t) get anything out of it. I got a lot out of it. I learnt a lot. He began to feel defeated in his job search. I do not ( don’t) want to (wanna) try anymore. I feel defeated. She started to feel undervalued when she did not (didn’t) get the raise. I quit my job because I was undervalued by my boss. I feel like I am ( I’m) at a dead-end job. The negotiations have reached a dead end. You need to rein it in. Please keep it under wraps. The starstruck teenagers started screaming when they saw their favorite singer. I usually do not get starstruck but when I saw my favorite actor in the shopping mall, I was so excited. You need to rein it in. You need to rein in your anger. I would (I’d) like to save money, so I need to rein in my spending. She found out that she is (she’s) pregnant, but she is (she’s) keeping it under wraps for now. When she was a teenager, Leonardo DiCaprio was her celebrity crush. Conditional Tense:- If you were to have… If I were to ask you… If you were too…If I were to tell you…If I were to do that… If she were…If he were… 1. If I did that, what would you think? If I were to do that, what would you think? If he found out, what would he think? If he were to find out, what would he think? This potential employee has a lot of the qualities that we were looking for. She married him because he has so many good qualities. She loves her job, but first and foremost she is (she’s) a mom. She has (she’s) a cheerful disposition You are walking too fast. Can we slow down the pace? Could you please pick up the pace? New York is fast-pace city. Weave, Wove, Woven. Weave a basket, weave a carpet.

I was in my 2nd full year working for Choice Courier but transferred from the midtown to the downtown office since they wanted rooks to start in Midtown and the vets in Downtown office. To make the same money as I was doing trips for midtown, I was doing extra local trips. They cut my check in February, and since I was the breadwinner for my mom & my sister, I had to get extra money. 1997 was also the year I went to 8 Yankee games, reunited with my best friend. My big sister moved to Jersey, but she stood around the metro until 2004.

Great colorization and restoration: so sad, when you think about it, that none of the people shown in this video are still with us, for generations, even though they seem so alive and contemporary in this video. One can imagine their descendants still walking among us, but with the passage of time, mortality takes us all and we at least have their preservation in memory and their images captured forever in this video; in that sense they truly do live on. It is truly amazing how this video can revive the past and these lives that have long since left our midst are brought back to life before our very eyes as if they were still with us, an incredible feat of modern technology.

Compared with today the 90's seem like a dream world... like a beautiful dream world which is lost forever and only lives on in our memories and hearts. 2020-24 seems like a nightmare compared to this beautiful footage and not just because of the pandemic, the inflation or the war in Ukraine, in general!!!!

It feels like every decade gets a little bit shitty and something of value was lost. Born in 95 so honestly my memory is extremely fussy but i do get extreme glimpses sometimes. Gonna be 30 in 25 and now it feels like where gonna start another depression to create a another war in order to dump the bad money cause our ass ain't paying for nothing. We don't have enough gold nor physical assets to cover interest so run up the credit card and wait to the longest day to pay for it. Get out of the country and let the voters fight it out. 9/11 was them kicking in the door to freedom and rights with the intent to take over, which we did because Peace time was done and its time to make money from wars.
