I just separated my shoulder yesterday jumping my mountain bike. Thank you for reviewing these three items. Based on your opinions, I think it’s best to start with the EVS.

Can I play badminton using this brace??.. I am suffering from shoulder dislocation problem

Hi, I played Badminton quite regulary some years back before my shoulder dislocation problem. In Badminton you have a quite excessive range of shoulder movement, e.g. over the head, as you know of course. I think none of the braces mentioned in the video can help you a lot in that over the head area, where dislocation is also super easy. Especially my favourite brace from Australia (see comments) won't help you with Badminton as it limits the area of motion, so effectively you can't play Badminton in a competetive way with it. My shoulder surgery is now 3.5 years ago, and I highly recommend it. I won't lie, you will have 3-6 months of not doing much with your shoulder except Physio, but I can assure you: It is worth it, I would always do it again. All the best for you my friend.

Thank you very much for review this. I had a bad acromia clavicular class 5 dislocation , just done hook plating. Am looking for one in the future . Do you think AC dislocation suit AC dislocation as well . Appreciate

Are these braces good enough to support an instable shoulder during pushups?

I am not a doctor. Before my surgery over 2.5 years ago my shoulder was very bad and dislocated easily. But even then I did not have big problems with dislocation when doing pushups. Just some little pain here and then. So I am guessing these braces won't help you much.

The reason all three of these are a fail is because they do not keep the arm down close to the torso. They are cosmetic. To actually prevent another dislocation you need a strap between torso and arm which prevents the arm from raising to an angle at which a high force would pull the shoulder back, causing it to dislocate. the real solution highly limits range of motion of that arm.

All the best, I liked the Australian brace too (see comments below for more info). But it highly depends on your sports activity if you can use it.

@@LongLiveEnduro just got the EVS. It runs small but i like it over the baurfiend. Feel more secure for sure and I like that it doesnt wrap around the neck. Ordering a larger size.

Yes, Rotorua has a beautiful rainforest. This trail is up in the native part of the forest (protected, no forestry in there)

It helps a bit. Depending on the status of your shoulder. See a doctor and he can tell you more. I had surgery 2 years ago which was the best decision for my shoulder which dislocated often and easily.
