Can't stand to watch any of these all the way through because of the annoying screeching. It is not about the audience signaling that they are there. Rudeness, really. No, it's not a basketball game and no reason to scream into a microphone even if you do applaud on occasion.

I know you think you are doing the dancers a favor, but if you are near the mic, stop screaming. Half the time you can't hear the music. Detracts from the excellent performances.

Youth is Sophomore to Seniors in highschool

Yes, the nearly all of kids are 16 to 18, occasionally down to 15

This would be so cool as a flash mob. All of them hiding their costumes under big oversized coats then ripping them off and doing the performance. The colors in all their costumes were so beautiful.

They actually did perform this on the streets of New York, Central Park, at the Statue of Liberty and several places around Washington DC. Let me know if you want to see any of those and I can add it to my channel.

No there shouldn't, the audience cheering on makes performers happy and a sense of reassurance that they are enjoying the show

I appreciate the comment Don't think of this as a performance on Broadway. This is more like the atmosphere of a basketball game. Everyone cheers on the players/performers. The audience helps give them more energy with applause and cheers.

Yes, same Ballroom Company. Extreme Ballroom. This competition was just held in a High School. :)
