What did you do with the fish in the pond. What was the estimate of acreage for the pond.

The 3D series is manual, and i think a manual transmission is an option on the 4M series.

Too much FERTILIZER on your beautiful green lawn behind the pond! You keep feeding the aquatic plants every time you sprinkle your lawn!

Some people don't fertilize at all and still have this happen. Petrochemical fertilizers aren't the only source of nitrogen there is.

How long did it take for the pond to refill? And how did you do it? Spring fed? Just wait for rain?
@woodlandindustries9 ай бұрын
Its a runoff pond so rain and melted snow. It was full the next spring. It is also fed by seepage springs that don't run all year long if it's a dry year.

WM says that you can only add one trailer extension on there trailer. Do you know how come? Like to mill 20' lumber. Thanks Dave
@woodlandindustries9 ай бұрын
I cut longer than 20' but the Woodland Mills trailer isn't designed to add more than one extension.. I attach extra extensions to the end of my trailer when I need longer cuts but I'm not mobile with the extra length. I have to remove them when I'm towing.
@davidthiessen25819 ай бұрын
I don't have any extensions on my trailer yet. How much would it cost to get one track and trailer extension and one more track to do something similar like you did when I need to mill longer lumber? I'm in NC for the shipping cost.

By far the best way to stop duckweed that I've seen is to just dye the pond. My father-in-law's pond was thick with the stuff and he dyed it blue and the duckweed is gone. Doesn't hurt the fish and it's still safe to drink and swim and stuff because most dyes are supposed to be food grade but it makes it so that the less light reaches down in so that if duckweed grows it can only grow in the shallows.
@kCI2517 ай бұрын
Stupidest solution I have ever heard, just put chemical dyes in the water, lol
@EthanPDobbins7 ай бұрын
@@kCI251 everything is a chemical . You're a bunch of chemicals. Ooga booga. The dye for this comes in food grade that is safe for drinking water. Organic Pond™ pureBLUE Pond Dye is one such brand.
@EthanPDobbins7 ай бұрын
@@kCI251 everything is a chemical. You are made of chemicals. That's just a silly buzzword. All pond dyes are non toxic and some are even food grade dyes such as Organic Pond pureBLUE Pond Dye

In order not to drain water every time, you can assemble a mini dredger from two motor pumps. And clean the bottom from bottom sediments without an excavator

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this assembly video. Several very important tips! I especially like the spacer boards for setting up the tracks. I will make some spacer boards this morning! I just started unpacking my brand new Max 130 yesterday that I received 2 days ago. I’m glad that I found this video first before starting assembling it today. This is not my first bandmill. I bought a Central Machinery from harbor Freight 5 years ago. I can see a few techniques in this video that would’ve helped me 5 years ago with that setup. Thank you once again. I too enjoy watching videos from different sayers of milling logs but I enjoy milling my own logs much better more fun. But I learn different techniques from different people from every video. Take care.

First of all - excellent video, one of the VERY best about a WM assembly. I watched it a couple of times when assembling and fine tuning my first mill, but when I bought my second mill I really watched this video properly, slowly and carefully. And I always recommend this video to anyone who buys a mill. Dan, I would like to make a small contribution, to this part: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGjInGyigdKgmqs When fine tuning mine I discovered I don't need to trim anything, just release that one bolt and pull out or push in those cables as much as needed. I also used the opportunity to "squeeze" them a little bit more, now they really keep the wheels clean.
