I have my grandfather's '70 D35 that my grandma special ordered him from the Martin Guitar factory. The easy feel of the neck and the bass response of the guitar are indeed its crowning characteristics.

Can you please do high e and g? I have THE WORST luck with those.. i pull back 2 tuners, 1.5 frets, and it pops, next time i change it to 2-2.5, Pop. And im using a tuner. I mean unless 12's are meant for d standard lol.
