The weather was definitely not always great! I was there for 3 weeks so I got some beautiful days but plenty of rainy/cloudy days too

Looks like quite the adventure. I noticed one of you using batons. I have been thinking about getting a set myself (Folkrm Wyeast). Is it hard to get used to having a portion of the grip above your hands on the downhill? And how much longer of a pole of you use than you would for alpine

Yeah I used to use them but don't anymore. The long grip is nice but the extra length is annoying when skiing
