@@AZMTB what does this mean? They cant simply order one? Edit: did some research. Didnt realize the bike industry worked this way. My local shop basically said it didnt matter and i can just order it online and it will get shipped to them. Im guessing margins are slim and the money maker is upselling/service etc
@AZMTB
@AZMTB 25 күн бұрын
Doesn't exactly work like that, not here anyway. You can build a bike on my-orbea website, then it'll tell you what dealers in your area have an allocation for one to get it ordered. There was a Team version, but it was a few states away and I wanted to work with a bike shop (Emigos) that was about 20 minutes from me so I could bring it back for service whenever.

@@AZMTB strange. I could pick any dealer online. I bet the area you're in has alot more demand for this bike and therefore Orbea wants to 'spread it out.' I am in Virginia.. not as many people are going to buy a Wild.

So you’re friends killed it also on the rise with less travel, did they try the wild and what did they think? Are you riding the 160 or 170 front. Most companies don’t use a 160 rear, did it help this bike be more plush or the same as other bikes with a 150 rear

@@AZMTBDid you go with the 625wh or 750wh battery? I'm looking at the H30, which through LBS' instead of direct, only comes with the 625wh. I'm a heavier rider, would prefer the 750wh, but the 625wh should do well for the majority of my rides, and I read that Bosch is releasing a 250wh range extender, just a question if it would be compatible with the 2023 Wild.

I have a gen 1 Orbea Rise right now, but am seriously thinking of the 2023 Wild. It looks great. That Bosch motor definitely sounds noisier than my Ep-8 on my Rise. Have you ridden the Rise at all? How does it compare to the Wild 2023 in terms of handling and poppiness?
@AZMTB

I've ridden the Rise, but only a little. Not really enough to explain that kind of difference, but the Rise did just "feel" like more of a trail bike. The Wild just feels like a much more burlier bike and was more comfortable over the rough stuff.

I have the same bike and did the same things to it. If you haven't already done it (and still have this bike 3 years later), I'd highly recommend going as big as possible with the Sram HS-2 rotors. I think I did 220 on the front and either 180 or 200 on the rear. Changed my brakes from one of the weakest parts on the bike to amazing. I love that they're just a bit thicker than the Centerline rotors on your bike in this video.
