Great video. I've got a 2006 ZX3 that I will be tracking for the first time at thunder hill at the end of this month. I've got drilled and slotted front rotors and ceramic pads, other than that it's bone stock. Really nice to see what the track looks like and what kind of speeds you're pulling!

***** your right! I looked into it and it appears to be really reliable compared to helically cut gears in the trans. Im considering upgrading my T5 with gforce straight cut gears

I wish they would put a lot more this on television. This is 10 times better than any NASCAR race. Except for the high-speed tracks. And even then it's about 50-50. We need a lot more open track days for older and newer American cars. Especially my new Shelby GT350! The number one thing on my bucket list is to be in my car on the Laguna Seca race track. I may not be able to drive. But I still get a lot of enjoyment in the passenger seat.

I miss the old trans am racing from the 60's and 70's. Road course racing is great and they could do some kind of real stock car type racing again. We still have Camaros Mustangs and Challengers today. Just severally limit what they can do and no traction controls, anti lock brakes etc. They are going to spend tons if you let them so make them spend it on a mechanical brake system and a basic FI system. Since most of the engines are similar in HP/CI under those conditions things would be fairly competitive. Would be great.
