The skin on my hand gets bad from all the fishing, that`s why I use a rubber glove... Just to keep it "contact free" if you understand what I`m saying :-)

Great video guys, we are coming that direction in end of june. What next cast line would you recommend for heavy flow like that? I have SF40 3D but i think its too light for flow like that. Also are you using heavy (brass tubes etc) flies on this set up?

Many thanks! In this video the water level was about 105-115m3s, and I was using a SF45 246 with a brass tube fly. It really depends on what density you have on your SF40 line. This current was pretty fast, so I would recommend a line that has a sinking body aswell. Just to make sure to slow down the fly and the line enough. When you`re there in the end of June the water level might be lower, and warmer aswell. Which means you shouldn`t have to use too heavy lines - you could fish faster than I could.

@@tomaszpokrzywa3169 No problem! You can contact [email protected] for any inquiries regarding fishing at Namsentunet, or see if there is any other cards available in Namsen. But I could recommend that you try to find a fishing card in some other rivers in the Area aswell! Stjørdalselva is easily accessible. Verdalselva is also an option. Bogna aswell! Here you can day tickets which isn’t expensive👍

yes beautiful river to fish. When you go ever back try to fish from Grong side just outside town cross the railway beautiful spot to fish just in front of waterfall. Cool vid!!
