I knew Dave Reynolds, the guitarist, singer & his Sister wrote the words I believe. We played together some years after this but he played it for me. He became very well known as a bassist but was a good guitarist as well.....very nice guy, died just a few years ago. He taught me a lot. This is so great that this old 45 is being heard.....he was from Tuscaloosa as was I. Thanks for putting this up. Tommy Stuart

I also saw this video on SNUB in 1988. The song is fantastic and has a great catchy beat. I never get tired of listening to this song. This video deserves to have many more views.

As good now as it was then. This was a seriously underrated band. Great writing and what a sound.

I want to make a song called Jerry Lewis accidentally crosses the French border into some country that doesn't understand him.

Alan Strom Lime Spiders aren't one of Australia's best Bands or even one of the World's best Bands. Lime Spiders are one of the best Bands in all of the eternal parallel Universes. I saw Lime Spiders on so many occasions that I couldn't put an accurate figure on it. On quite a few occasions I found myself having a chat and a smoke with Mick Blood outside the venue. One time in the 90's I bumped into Mick at a Venue called Feedback in Newtown. Somehow the conversation got around to Urge Overkill and their album " Saturation" Both of us really loved the album. I told him it was one of my favourite albums to practice my Drumming to. Mick was surprised that I played the Drums and shocked that I could play to one of the hardest tracks on the album. One night in the 80's, a mate and myself dropped into the Band house at Forestville to 'pick up' and the band were rehearsing extremely loudly in a 'soundproof' room. The memory is vividly etched on my brain. Mick was a great person to talk with, he always remembered my name. I am deeply saddened by the horrible incident that happened to him. I hope he is doing well. Lime Spiders are a huge part of my life. They are a real Rock Band.

Was the key that Johnny tried to sell to the cop in the bar, the key to the stolen car? Or am I just clueless?

I loved them when I was a teenager too but when they came to my town, my Dad banned me from going to their gig. I was so upset but at least I got to see them when I was older. My Dad said of the Horns of Dilemma, "I could do better than that in a traffic jam on Barkers Road."
