Its not chunkz trying to protect his brand deals or distance himself, the much simpler explanation is that keeping his mouth shut is the best way to help him... I would put money on the fact that Filly will have been court-ordered to tread carefully on any socials while this case is on due to his social presence and influence. The worst possible thing that can be done is have Chunkz/HP/Beta squad ect fuel anything by saying 'absolutely no way filly's done this, this is my bredrin and he would never do things like this'. I get what you mean. If you know your friend is absolutely innocent, you should speak up if you think there's an injustice, but it's best to be quiet because even Mr. Beast started getting hate because one of his associates was in trouble too. It's either: a. Chunkz and the beta squad knows Philly personally and know that he's the type of guy that can absolutely do the stuff he's being accused of, or b. They know he might be innocent, but they have been advised to not speak up on this by their managers to save their brand deals and such.

Having watched Chunkz and Filly's content from time to time, Filly does come across as a little self-centered and arrogant from time to time. Therefore, once the allegations became public, there was a part of me that wasn't shocked. Obviously it's all 'alleged', at this moment in time, nothing has been confirmed. However, in hindsight, from his videos, he does seem like the type to treat those of an equal status or higher with respect and perhaps look down on people with little status. These are opinions that I've gathered due to him appearing to be narcissistic at times✌🏾

I can’t lie, even if you not with your friend 24/7. For someone that you call your best friend and brother. You know and understand your friend enough to know their character. People have an energy and way that they act around the opposite sex, even if you don’t think they could be a rapist.
