It hurts. I haven't seen anyone saying how small the opening is. Maybe its just me but i can't insert it fully. I bought my cup last year and i have tried several times but failed. A lot of my friends use it and they say after a few months it will become easy but i just can't get it in. But i won't give up. I'll try again next month

I was very confused because I was almost certain I put my cup correctly, but I get that gurgling sensation after only a couple of hours, and it said everywhere that the cup could last 12 hours inside. I own all there cups lol 🤣 and there disc but the large is to big so I need the smaller disc and more wash lol my flow changes from spotting light heavy regular light lol 🤣 I'm from Canada

Thank you so much for this video. I've tried it only twice, but I seem to struggle to remove the cup. I feel like the cup is either too high up, or I have too short fingers. I had to chop part of the stem off since it was bothering me, so it doesn't help with removin it. No problems with inserting and it feels comfortable even though I know it's not fully correct because of slight leakage when half lying, but I still feel quite nervous when the removing it. But I'll try again.

Ever since I had a baby I leak all the time, I got a new (larger size) and I can never get it to open. Maybe I shouldn’t have gotten the larger one? I’m not sure what to do except buy a new one but I’ll be mad if that doesn’t work.

I have the same experience! The thing wouldn’t get behind my pubic bone. My conspiracy theory is that this “universal” size- which the product is marketed under may not have included testing with women who have smaller set uteruses and smaller set hips. Cuz Asian women are like smaller on average (like if we look at the numbers for Asian clothe sizes and average height of the women). Like how medicine isn’t really tested on women. I mean when foundation comes out an it’s a “universal colour” that’s just white and not for women of colour until recently (even though colour selection is still a big problem for lots of brown women). Anyway, the thing will always slip and come out from my pubic bone especially when I’m lying down =.=

that's interesting that yoy don't seem to fold the cup when you remove it, i experience great deal of pain when I try to do that because the opening is smaller than the insides for me. I always fold the cup before removing it, the same way that I insert it

My cup leaks only when i am doing some physical exercises and during sleep. Otherwise no leaks throught the day. What could be the reason? Should i go for a firm cup?

I wish this cup worked for me. I think it’s the only cup that leaks for me. Not all the time, just some of the time, which makes it even more confusing.

I was looking into the meluna cups, as I have a shorter cervix during some of my cycle. I currently use the Lena small, and it's been my only cup I've used, so I have no comparison to it. It hurts quite a bit when inserting and removal, like the rim is too stiff. But also I have trouble sometimes getting it to pop open. I usually have to push against my vaginal wall on the side where the cup is closed in order to get it to open. It also seems to affect my bladder sometimes. And like I said, during short cervix days, I have to maneuver it quite a bit so that it doesn't irritate me when it sits lower. (I haven't tried cutting the stem off). So now I'm a bit confused on what I really need, after watching some of these videos and reading some of your comments. I know this video is 8 yrs old, but still very helpful. And hopefully you can provide any sort of information that can help me!

Pros: Love the Enna cup's seal from the firm rim and air holes. Insertion/removal is straightforward with a little practice. The applicator was a nice confidence builder for a beginner (no longer needed). Con: The grip rings (above the stem) kind of chafe. Not sure if I'm just not inserting the cup high enough. I'm reluctant to turn it inside-out, what with the firm ring and the long stem. Got the Lily cup next (no grip rings!) but now it's the stem that's irritating. Any reccomendations for a similarly soft cup that doesn't have any external ridges?

By far the best demonstration in KZbin on inserting and removing a menstrual cup! Question: Vaginal opening is much smaller than shown in all videos. So when I try to insert, it keeps slipping from my hand and refuses to go in. Any tips to fix this?
