Moe, This video was posted by one of our rep firms, so View personnel were not aware it was posted. My apologies, but here is your answer. We can eliminate blinds for heat and glare purposes but we do not market the product as a privacy solution. Although it is nearly impossible to see inside when the glass is tinted during the day, at night, even when the glass is tinted you still have down to 0.5% light transmission so it is possible to see movement and some low level of detail inside. That being said there are ways to use our glass (in combination with other techniques) where privacy is required. I hope that helps answer your question.

They do not create PRIVACY GLASS SOLUTIONS, however there are many companies that do. Sadly this might be the downfall of VIEW. Versatility is the key to innovation. A Product that provides a multitude of solutions is what appeals to consumers in today's world. Some not only allow variants in shade and privacy they can also be used to project images on. Smart Glass is evolving and should become mainstream within the next few years. My hope is that View will understand this and evolve with the growing changes in the consumer products and building design markets.
