@robbyclark6915Ай бұрын
I have an 04 swing I bought in 2020. I now ride a Harley Low Rider S 114 mostly, and the swing does a lot of sitting. I recently replaced the dead battery and started riding her again, and I'm instantly reminded of what drew me to this bike. The thing is, that I have neglected her terribly in the 4 plus years I have owned her, and now, I am almost afraid to know how much maintenance I need to get done to her! I'm sure I need new brake pads, but I'm guessing a brake flush would be recommended, too. I've also got oil and grease in all kinds of spots on the forks and the front caliper and even the engine, although I'm never low on oil. Anyway, I'm just ranting now, but I find myself still loving this bike, and now, I need to do a lot of work to her, and it scares me!

👍 I know the feeling you're talking about. I've considered moving up to a bigger bike and the FXR would be a great choice, however, I'd like something more refined like a Honda FB6 or Goldwing Bagger. The enjoyment we get on two wheels can't be compared to anything else.😁 Cheers 🍻 👏

✋️ Wait what? They actually said that the Magura HS33 wouldn't fit?🤔😳 That's brazy fr 🤪 Get you a set and install em yourself (only if you can). (Link to manual api.magura.com/medias/sys_master/maguracom-medias/h4c/hd0/9603888545822/hs_manual_2017_en/hs-manual-2017-en.pdf). Bro, you need to contact another bike shop if that shop ain't woke! What kind of brakes do u have and are they good for wheelies?
@MSG_MOTO3 ай бұрын
Link for brakes are in the description. Are they good for wheelies? It's the rider that has to control the braking, not so much the brakes themselves. With practice any brake set can do the job. I don't feel like the stock brake were good for me, so I had to change them. Hope this helps👍

My wife rides the 600 Silverwing and loves it! I ride the 650 Burgman and I love it more than all the other bikes I have had, some of which are BMW K1100, Moto Guzzi 1100, Honda Goldwing 1200 and 1500, Valkyrie, Suzuki LC1500. Of all of them, the scooters are the best. Both can go 100 mph +, give complete coverage for bad weather and are more fun than all to ride. Folks who shun these "scooters" do not know what they are missing.

Hello my biker Name is Nightbaker. I've just purchased a used Silverwing 600 my name is going be seen alot not a good mechanic. This bike is a step up from Icebear trikes, in my opinion that brand should kick out of US marketplace to many issues. Question will a regular motorcycle shop be able too service or is Honda service better. This bike is my transportation due to bad hip so SS judge said no more paddle vehicles.

ive got a se too got it used from a friend and i will agree new they are overpriced new but they are way better than walmart quality bikes the tires are se branded and the brakes stock should be tektro thats what my big ripper has the forks are built way stronger than any walmart bike also se branded. parts that should be upgraded would be the tires maxxis hookworms are good brake pads koolstops pads are really good and grips odi grips are really nice also u see alot for sale because alot of people want to upgrade to one of the more expensive se bikes or mafia bikes the big flyer is more of a beginner "wheelie bike"
@MSG_MOTO4 ай бұрын
👉Let's talk about it! 🤔So buy a beginner wheelie like a BF, but because it's a👶 beginner's bikes you need to change 🚨brakes right away to something your can trust so you dont bust your...🤕 looping out everytime to try to wheelie❔️😒Let's be honest who's running a BF with stock brakes and doing combos and keeping it up blocks on blocks? Not beginners 😤 My point is if you drop 💰💵~$750+/- on beginner WHEELIE bike with untrustworthy no-name brand brakes why do they cost so much? What, if not for the se name ALONE, are actually getting for your money? 🤔🤷🏾♂️ Even, 🤷🏾♂️ BikeLife Wheelie Veterans and the entire SE Bike Crew (in their how-to wheelie video) stress how important rear brakes are to wheelies 😒 PROFITS 📈 is their only concern.

The first scooter I ever rode was the Met. Great bike, and I’d rent one about once a week to get practice and experience in city traffic and parking lot practice. Learned enough to ace my MSF course. Montreal reminds me a lot of Philadelphia in some places. Really love how nimble that bike is. I saw in your description that one of your featured bikes is a Kawasaki Vulcan. In my latest videos one of my fellow riders is on a Kawasaki Eliminator. Also, is the Met a new bike?
