Enjoyable ! ! ! As an senior mallet player also in a community band, I (and others) have observed how important it is for those of us in our later years to take care to exhibit musical passion in our body language when we perform. This was a nicely performed piece other than that missing element.

We played this song in high school at Fort Madison Aquinas in Iowa in 1971 (me on trombone) and the audience also started applauding before going in to "Saints". I guess the ending to Basin Street Blues tricked people to thinking the entire piece was done. Anyway, it was a fun piece to play.

Not bad for a couple of 70 year olds. Not too easy on a grass floor.
