What happended after? Did you get a new BMS? Did u make it running? I need to replace cells and at least 1 BMS. I hear and read all kind of stuff about chinese BMS. I use to swap cells in ebike and scooter batteries. But this thing is different.

I been collecting around ideas how to do the whole process for my GLC. Since I have zero DIY knowledge, I kind of mess-up the process. Anyway, I took out both filter (hood and cabinet), then I switch off AC to spray/clean. The form then fall in my passenger seat floor. I guessed the form just fall from the fan airway where I clean it. Not sure if the form will still fall if I keep my cabinet filter on. Anyway, I did it. Took out my filters(two instead of whats instructed in video). Did my clean. Put everything back successfully.(thank god) Now lets see if it improves a lot. 😛😛

One of my batteries worked the second one didn’t worked, but the voltage and everything was working, correct but the Safeway wasn’t reading it. I don’t know what to tell you.

Hi Iván. I hope everything goes well. The world of segway batteries is a nightmare for me. Sometimes I build a battery and it works and others don´t. I don´t know why it gives me errors like e102, e10a, e10b, e142. All of them are communication error and I dont´know what to do. Voltages are right, everything perfect but it doesn´t work. Do you know these segway errors ? Regards.

Thanks for the video. I followed your steps but instead of drilling, I disconnected the drain hose. You have to cut the small zip tie that's holding it in place. I fed the hose as far as it could go into the evaporator housing and sprayed almost the entire can. It helps to hold the drain close to catch the leak-off but there's also a built in plastic tray to catch any leaks. After putting everything back together and running the AC, I saw condensate coming out of the drain for the first time since I bought this car used.

Drilling hole is a bit excessive. Why not pull the end of evaporator drain hose of the heater box and stick this foam through? Have you tried to look with endoscope in to there?

I looked into it and honestly I didn't want to mess with it only because after making the hole and if it start leaking inside of the car that will be a bigger problem you can try finding the hole underneath the car and do it that way but my idea was not jacking the car but you can definitely try it let me know how it goes

It doesn’t let you lower it if your door is open. Pretty sure you might have to have your seatbelt on too.

Just follow the same steps that I did on my Mercedes, but do it on yours and spray the chemical in to your vent make sure you don’t breathe it

I think the most effective one is the one where I had to drill a hole only because that way I send the chemical directly to the heat core

Very clear instructions, thanks. I just want to remove the Thunderbolt/Laptop charger cables as I use a long thunderbolt cable and dont need the laptop charger. Is this OK?

In that case, why would you bother all this work, just cut the cable? That way you can even keep the dust away from reaching the interior.

Hello Ivan. A few days ago I bought two BMS with bluetooth connection from Alibaba. I want to try if they work with this board. On the other hand I’m going to build two batteries this week by using two BMS from batteries that work well. The batteries are not broken. They last only about 1 hour so I’m going to use these boards. I hope they will work well. If the BMS from Alibaba go well I’ll use these BMS for the following batteries. I’ll contact you again when I have more news. Regards.😂😮

You can only use original BMS because there is data communication between BMS and vehicle.

You don't need to remove the sensor. remove the tire, and squeeze the bag through front upper gap.

I will say yes, but the Segway was still not running. and I’m saying yes because I was getting voltage out from the battery.

Hi Ivan. I´m trying to build segway batteries by using 18650 3.2v lifepo4 cells. Everything seems to be perfect but the battery does not work. I have been told to use ion-lithium cells instead. I don´t know what to do to make them work

For the 3.2V LiFePO4 Battery, how about total voltage ? Segway battery support both LiFePo4 (3.2V) & NMC (3.7V)

@@JennyXu-u1x hello. My batteries are working well know. I use 18650 3’2v 1.800mA lifepo4 cells. The minimum voltage is 73’6V but my batteries always reach more. Do you have any device to check the BMS is fine? I have a tester that gives you all the info (series voltage, general voltage) and works also as a equalizer if you need to equalize the series

Great video. Quick tip, you don’t need to remove the level sensor from the X166 chassis. Just fully deflate old bags and remove between rotor and frame. This also helps if you don’t have a scan tool to inflate the new bags once in place. All you need to do is start the car while rear end is raised, place an additional jack under the axle and lift until the sensors turn the compressor on. This makes it so much easier to line up the bags one side at a time IMO
