He is consistently talking about the narrative. The narrative is separate from the figure. You easily attack and show major issues with the narrative. However, the idea that Jesus was not a historical figure who did not exist was not clearly shown from the information this guy gave. Jesus may no5 be a historical figure. But this guy's evidence was not scholarly and can be easily dismissed as he focused on narratives and not the actual figure being discussed.
