Me and my dad were there at the lawn and this girl was behind me and she was screaming the lyrics loud but now a-bit-very-loud of the songs and I scram very loud but she’s kinda more louder than me and I lost my voice so I had to drink water at some point then we moved areas to see the boys better. When we got home I lost my voice so we had to eat pasta and ice cream lol I’ll never forget it

Not bullying. The live turtle is a male and that is box turtle courtship behavior. He's not mean, just lonely.

Glass aquariums are highly not recommended for this breed of turtle. Box turtles need to have reference of an object or wall by color, and glass does not have this. I often recommend putting colorful wall paper on the outside of the aquarium facing in, and only approximately 3" up from the bottom. This way everyone wins, you get to see your turtle and he won't run into the glass and be stressed. He's a super cool Boxy

A great British victory, despite being outnumbered and attacking UP HILL. A humiliating defeat for the US Army although none could have stood against the tenacity of those Regulars and Militiamen.

Great names! I hope to have room for an aquatic tank someday, I know some people who work to rescue red eared sliders and would love to give a home to one or two :) Griffin was almost 2 years old in this video, but now he's almost 5. I got him at the Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo in Mississauga, Ontario in June 2008. It was important to me to ensure he wasn't a wild capture, so the breeders expo was the place to go :)

Is it fun feeding him by hand I have a three toed turtle and I feed him strawberries!;) he's just so darn cute when he eats strawberies!

In the video I'm feeding Griffin Reptile Life Box Turtle Food, by "The Bug Company", but I would recommend offering your turtle a variety of fruits, veggies, earthworms and crickets. Check out "The Turtle Forum" online for more helpful guides and information.

If it's still a baby, you should feed it daily. If it's older than 1 year, you can feed every other day. I give Griffin a mix of fruits and veggies such as romaine lettuce (never iceburg lettuce), red pepper, corn, cooked carrots, banana, raspberries and cantaloupe. For protein he also gets Mazuri aquatic turtle pellets mixed in, or live crickets (from the pet store), and earthworms and pillbugs I find outside. Check out the TurtleForum website for box turtle care pages :)

Thank you! He is mainly an indoor turtle. I live in Ontario, so we only have appropriate outdoor weather between May and September. I take him out into the yard on sunny, warm afternoons. Once I have a place of my own I'll build a secure outdoor enclosure for nice days :)

Is he more indoors or do you bring him out a lot? He has nice coloring :)
