You said something about wanting to visit other tracks in the Great Lakes area. How do we contact you about that? I am in the Cleveland OH area, with a 3-lane routed wood track done to 1960's European theme.

Great, seeing you guys again! Yeah, I’ve been kind of laying off my HO track set up for quite a while but I’m still collecting cars. Other jobs and projects have been tying up my time. If you guys ever make it down to Branson Missouri, I live about an hour away. Would love to meet up with you if I make it up there to see my mom and sister again soon. Looking forward to more videos. But I think you’re with me in saying: TIGERS LIONS AND RED WINGS…OH MY! 😅

I never got into racing slotcars myself, but always enjoyed watching others. I was more active in model railroading. I really enjoy watcing all of the videos of racing, painting and scenery. A lot of scenery ideas have been captured for my upcoming rebuild of my train layout. Looking forward to the future videos.

Awsome i got my road course and forst eber wood routed slot car track finished for 1/24 scale tonuse model car kots to buold the cars im now buolding a true 4 lane true to scale 1/24 scale Bristol motor speedway for some slpt car 1/24 scale stock car racing using the wood tounge depressor aluminum and brass chassis i came up with to build the chassis for 4 dolallrs in materials handels extremely well and wont care if they get wrecked by my buddies and can hse model car kits to make some very scale realistic vintage and modern nascar slpt cars liwkk you have. My fav to have right bow is vintage lemans racecars like Ferraris and ford gts. Im also using Carrera digital system integrated into my wood router bristol track so we can run 12-15 cars pass and have all the features of a digital track on a 4 lane wood routed bristol

You sir are a true craftsman your breed of person is slowly disappearing and the neeer generations dont hand build anything like thsi anymore. Love your videos gives me great odeas for display and track scenary and cars and ect for my track i just finished and display shelf for my models that are not slot cars but im now building my slot car collection up i figured out how to use tounge depressors and a few poeces of teally thin aluminum and some brass to build a really cheap sple and good chassis for 1/24 scale slot cars and use model kits kf course and make them as scale as possible. Like i said before im not looking to make a high performance race ar chassis jait something that habdles good enough to drive at a high enlugh speed to have fun and race with friends or just drive and race at true scale speeds as well and the cars look super realistic. I gotta paint and detail the track surface is all o got left to do to my track ots a 3 lane wood routed track didnt take me to long to make the trakc but painting the details like tire marks and skid marks cracks and the lines ect will take the longest. I got the grass areas done and some buoldings but it will never teuly be finished. When i get home from lut of town working ill take a video of me racing around it and a tour of my track i built. Its 178 feet is the racing line. Im currently making track pieces to have a four lane routed high bank oval track and gonna make it a true 1/24 scale version of bristol cause Charlotte or Atlanta would be way to big in 1/24 scale and bristol os still gonna be a big slot car track but will be a blast for some short track stock car 1/24 scale racing .

how do you change lanes? is it just by chance? and how do you continue to power your car with the same controller when you do switch lanes?

I saw this video about a year back. I've never worked with wood my entire life I do love slotcars scale modelling and just generally putting stuff togeather. This video inspired me to build a 43scale ferrari 250 gto in 1/43 scale with wood from one of those fruit crares you see at the market I got a friend got a fiew free boxes like this they are made from 2mm thick flat perfect wood for slotcars. It is slower than the stock cars but I have way more controll in turns so what I loose on the straightaways I easily re gain in the turns I can literally full power send it all around the track. For me this was a proof of concept I will make more of these for sure

Question how do you put the power on the copper tape do you just tape the bare end under the wire or do you have some sort of a connector
