I am so excited for Jack Doohan to be on the grid. He is the first f1 driver from Queensland so I have a home driver to support from my state not just from Australia. He is like a home home driver for me even if we still are from 9ish hours apart.

This is true but we still felt like including him anyway because he’s now got a seat for the remainder of the year rather than just a couple of races, I think being the reserve driver for someone injured isn’t necessarily enough to say “he’s not a rookie anymore” (even if it technically is, by definition)
