the Christmas special comes with a great commentary with Paul and others. apparently, they either did shoot a scene and it didn't make the final cut, or it never got shot, but Pee Wee and Grace were going to show kids how to make a hat just like Grace wears here using a single piece of cardboard. i think there was also a David Bowie connection as to this particular version of 'Little Drummer Boy'

Paul will always be PeeWee to me. I know the role had to get irritating to Mr.PeeWee, but he altered everyone who watched PeeWee's Playhouse such a major role in sculpting my personality, sense of humor, and how I treat people.. Gone but never forgotten...❤❤❤❤
