Wow what a great episode today!!! I will definitely watch the movie Sound of Noise, it looks amazing! I didn't know about the Electrosteel guitar, now I find some videos, what a futuristic instrument! The construction of the underwater microphone is really amazing, if one day you put them on sale I think I would get one!
I revisit this about once a month and lament.. such a beautiful sound

Wow, this is really inspiring. It would have never occurred to me to use a high speed LFO on a delay like that.

whoa I'm in the group shot at 2:06! Got to see Victoria's performance and meet her briefly after that show. Thanks for putting up this interview (esp. in English), fun to hear how unique artists think about sound

Thank you for the mangled noises at the end! These are the kind of sounds that interest me. Medieval instruments are nice, but mangling them with digital tools is something new and different.

Wonderful tutorial. I really appreciate that you showed the actual medieval acoustic instruments that the sampled sounds correspond to. The poetry/noise ending is amazing.

Thank you both very much! KZbin has an auto-translation feature for the closed captions (CC).
@antfactor2 ай бұрын
I wish there were an English CC option for this... as I'd really like to know that you're saying. My Chinese friends couldn't translate it as it was "too philosophical/technical" for them to follow. If you find the time to do one in English, I'm sure MANY more people would appreciate it. 👌 Cheers and best always from NYC! -ant

There used to be auto translated subtitles available for other videos, but not anymore it seems. Maybe it needs some time or a certain amount of views?
@LüksSosyalizm2 ай бұрын
I had no trouble accessing the auto translated subtitles. I'm using Chrome on a windows desktop for context.

@@LüksSosyalizm Interesting. It doesn't work in Firefox or the KZbin app for me, but in Chrome it does.

How wonderful. The rain one is one of my favourites that I had seen. I'm still experimenting with my Wingie 2, as soon as I finish and compose a track I'll upload it to my channel and mail you the link. Regards.

Thank you so much! I am working on an expanded version of that, featuring some midi sequencing too, but I am waiting for the right rain ;) But as I mentioned in the video and Meng Qi repeated in this one, it is VERY important to keep the Wingie away from moisture
