You may be interested to learn that this version is simply an arrangement of the traditional version most often sung in the UK. The original tune is often called 'Cradle Song' by William J. Kirkpatrick (an American). Some attribute the words of the first two verses to Martin Luther (a German). The arranger and singer of this version are Brits.

This is a beautiful recording - where is the original recording from please? PS We’re listening to this from Tiberias, looking over the Sea of Galilee!

God bless you, Garry. What a wonderful place to listen to this piece of music. The recording is 'Reflections in Nature' played by the International Staff Band of The Salvation Army.
@garrysmith38852 жыл бұрын
@@arnoldarmySA thanks, it's not Reflections in Nature though (although that piece does feature the tune). I've done a bit of research since and think it's a Male Voice arrangement by Les Condon recorded by the ISB and other male voices. It's on Spotify.

@@garrysmith3885 Sincere apologies - I wasn't paying attention! The original track was from an old recording called 'Sunday Morning - Salvation Army Brass Bands.' Unfortunately I don't know which band/choir are on the track. Here is a link to Amazon: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000057004/ref=sw_img_1?smid=AVXB5JQRCA15O&psc=1

# Please help me Lord Jesus I need to talk to you, my mum called me a spoiled brat and a pain the butt , and it made me feel angry, upset and full of RAGE so will u help her realise I'm not a spoiled brat and a pain the butt# I swear mummy I WILL MAKE U EAT YOUR OWN WORDS AND SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT *Angry, loud and Raging unholy Scream that no one will ever EVER forget in their lives*.
@forgedtofight2 жыл бұрын
I think it's best to put the anger aside, and use those bad feelings for good. We don't return evil with evil, rather we turn the other cheek. It's not easy dealing with anger but don't let nasty words get you down and stay dedicated to God's word

Thanks for this Jane. We had our park meeting last week so listened to it today. I think this is one of those sermons we need to hear now & again. Why bad things happen to good people is , I think something that keeps lots of people away from discovering more about God. Thanks again.
