I am around vol 28-29ish right now for berserk and it gets insane honestly it’s such a ride of action, darkness, and surprise still don’t know how I feel about it yet but can’t stop 😂 id love to see per arc review as you keep reading it will probably make the most sense because each arc is long enough to make a video 🤷 either way keep it up 🎉

you got a new sub! always love seeing fellow manga enjoyers talk about some series that i like i see that you just figuring out the channel and what you plan to do so i’ll say some things that i like regarding manga discussions as a follower the most comfortable and enjoyable format for me was always volume to volume reaction, instead of chapter to chapter you have a lot more to talk about and a lot more content to better construct your thoughts about the story/character/your predictions and stuff and regarding the series you want to start i only read berserk and vagabond and i personally started with berserk between the two for no particular reason but i don’t actually regret it cause i think reading vagabond after berserk gave a lot of great experiences in comparing the stories and the message of authors

honestly cant knock any of those choices!, personally id of put tokyo ghoul over dadadan for best ensemble, and best MC out of that list for me personally would have to be kaneki. but everyone has their own opinions and preferences! absolutely agree with best character development being kaneki, for me hes got some of the best character development in manga. how was wild strawberry? i read the first few chapters and really REALLY enjoyed it, but really hate reading digitally id rather read physical manga, so i dropped it in hopes it would be printed, but it seems unlikely now.

My personal hope is Vagabond winning since that's a series I'm currently reading as well, but I've heard very good things about Beserk. I've watched some of the Slime anime and want to get into it once I have more space for more series.

Be on the lookout for his previous series before this, ICHI THE KILLER! Way better than the film (it was a decent different take on the manga tho). Plus it just makes you feel like you read an entire madmans thoughts on the world and how everyone, everything, everywhere will be f¥¥¥ed and it can always get worse. Although most surprising is the extreme insane violence, intense torture, rampant mistreatment of women with plenty of SA to go around........the series still has a great sense of thoughtful writing and isn't pure mindless shock value. ~Always enjoy binging more Comics/Mangas/Graphic Novels.

Homunculus is definitely weird. But if you want bat shit fucking insane than I doubt you will find a more crazy shonen manga than Apocalypse Zero Definitely NSFW. Its terrible but also kinda awesome once you get past the intentional awfulness

One series you could try in terms of branching out to different themes and genres is “fly me to the moon” and “call of the night” that might be interesting for you, I’ve tried both immensely since I read them around the same time they were released and I highly recommend them as well as the Romcom Urusei yatsura! 📚📚📚👍

Reading in general for me with comics and manga has been good since I live in a very rainy area and a bit of a fireplace during the winter months makes everything cozy, while during the summer I read a lot on the porch, very warm and relaxing 😎
