a undecorated movement is nice to look at at least for me more desirable than a closed back. did you solve the loud movement issue?

Great looking piece. But. The 3 o'clock date window claims yet another victim. Especially on a California dial, man, it's all about the symmetry.

I was wondering if that watch has a sweeping second hand? Well, obviously it’s supposed to. I just Hydro Modded a watch with oil, it’s a chronograph, and it’s working ok so far (it has a very small second hand as a subdial). However, the larger second hand on the chrono will basically hardly move if it’s selected on. I don’t really use the chrono so I just reset it and will leave it there. Where I’m going with all this is that I don’t think most of these quartz watches have the available torque to move the second hand through the fluid, and they get stuck. I’m wondering if you have considered just removing the second hand and replace the. Artery, and try again? We would all love an update. This is a stunning watch with the mod.

NOBODY seems to get this, but if you put anything over the absolute black, the glass is just going to catch the light so it's not going to work, even with an anti-reflective coating. It's basic physics, the light is hitting the glass, not the dial.

I found these in time to score a couple last Christmas for my granddaughter, now five years old. Not only are they everything you say they are, they're also satisfyingly hefty tactile objects, and if the play forever name means anything I like to think that my granddaughter will pass these on to her own children. Our favorite game is to sit on opposite ends of a room and push these towards each other for satisfying head on collisions that bounce the cars back to the original sender. Time will tell, but these are a joy to look at, play with and hold. It figures watch guys would be attracted to them as we both were. Thanks for the video.

Правда в стуки набегает погрешность: секунд на 20-30 "убегают" вперед, но благодаря подуманной опции "стоп-секунда" время легко откорректировать. Из пожеланий производителям: убрать пушеры (они тут лишние), вместо указателя месяцев добавить указатель завода пружины.

You can’t oil fill mechanical watches.

I'm itching to buy one of these but I have a thin barely over 6" wrist. 50mm case length might be pushing it and I believe it's 18mm thick. Those numbers feel like they may be a bit large for me. What size is your wrist? The Monmouth looked like the lugs almost hung over your write but it could have been the camera lens prespective.

What O-Ring size did you end up using? Planning to do the same but would like to have an o-ring on hand and ready to go. Great looking mod!

Had one bought for me … the box arrived as if someone had sat on it. The strap pin was so feeble the strap fell off. The month hand doesn’t flow it sort of jerks. Shame as I think it’s the best looking watch I’ve seen for years. Can’t find anything that looks that good but better made.

I have " the real thing" the Junghans Max Bill and the rotor is very noisy too (the same movement of my Hamilton X-Wind produces the same noise ), it is probably nice to have one at that price😇

Good experiment. Thanks for doing the video. I found it much better to use a 5CST viscosity oil. Bubbles are easier to remove and the oil flows better, plus it provides less resistance to the mechanism. If you have sufficient oil it's better to re-assemble the watch while it's submerged. I have two Casio MRW-200H that are going strong a couple of years after Hydromodding, but I have a Casio Edifice that isn't. Did you ever figure out what went wrong? They look great though, don't they?

What are the dimensions of the watch? Do you think that an actual chronograph movement like the 7750 could be fitted? Or are you aware of a homage with an actual 7750 mechanical chronograph? Or at the very least a meca quartz? Cheers

You can’t use oil in a mechanical movement because the viscosity impairs the movement. Quartz only I believe.

Try to replace the one you have used (silicone oil) with 10cst Dow Xiameter PMX-200.
