I think it would depend where your going, somewhere like Mystery Island, I would do it on the island. Even Neumea, I would look at on Island tours. However, the ship offers some really cool specialty tours.

We are planning a Sheoak comparison shortly. The huge difference is the assembly and fit out done at the factory in Maryborough. Goldfields put a lot of effort in appointing quality accessories for the comfort and longevity of the camper.

I guess they're not going to be for everyone, I don't use roof racks apart the awning. My fridge lives in the car as we 4wd. the Camper itself is pretty self-sufficient apart from toilet, matting etc.

Thank you, I appreciate your feedback. I'm not sure which pricing as the pricing on the sign which I tried not to highlight was from a past caravan show. I've had a Jpod for 6 years,,, I like it, but as I mentioned value for money this is pretty good. I've done other video's on the modifications on our Jpod I paid to add a lot of what the Escape comes standard with. Cheers Trev :)

@@DirtRoad4x4 for pricing see their website, certainly now they are in the same price point as the Jayco and Lumberjacks so not as enticing as the run out units you saw at the show.

​@@chucksnothereman Apples for apples the Escape is far better value than the Jpod X, I wish it were the other way around., as I'm a Jpod fan. The X sadly has so many short comings, cheap accessories, battery mounting position, cheap awning, cheap jockey wheel, entry level stove and sink. the finish is not as good, AGM battery, no diesel heater, no tv, less storage and many more.

Hi thanks for watching, the Prado roof rating is 100kg, whilst using a backbone mounting system. The weight of the Baserack and tent were under. I remember the conversation with the customer about their original plan and how much over it would be and that we would not install due to weight, if something happens we could be held accountable. thanks for the feedback :)

The idea of a hotrod event is for hotrods.. This is why there are 2 events on the same weekend and both can gain the amount of vehicles that they both have. P.s. its great bright is on because it keeps the poor behavior out of Yarrawonga...

It was pretty cool, such a diverse selection of cars at both shows. The Lake Mulwala Rod Run was great as well, and it's definitely a bit easier to get around. Thanks for taking the time to comment 🇦🇺🙏

@@philmcdonald1829 Thanks Phil, went to both over the weekend. seems both shows attracted similar cars and certainly people. Although it was a day at each for me and considering the amount of cars, the behaviour seemed pretty good.

@@DirtRoad4x4 bright has become the alpine shire pre summer nationals. It is primarily a street machine event, whilst the lake mulwala run is a hot rod event.

Shows generally not, for the best seats arrive early. the app is a terrific planner and reminder.
