What a waste of our money. These monsters don’t work and we can’t afford to buy any planes that when sailable , would make them a threat to our enemies like Russia China North Korea and Iran. £10 billion down the drain.

HMS Queen Elizabeth is at Portsmouth. She will sail on 2 September 2024 (Monday), leaving the Victory Jetty at 10 minutes past noon. For anyone in Pompey tomorrow, she'll be passing by The Round Tower.

This is what is called a motor-sail boat. It does both, but neither very well; too heavy to sail well, and due to keel and other implements, not great for motoring. But it is versatile.
