How come you didn't test it with a multimeter in series to see if you drop voltage

How are you doing bro? I love your video I thought it was very impressive. It’s it possible for you to share how you build that low tester that is pretty clever, bro thank you.

I find in trailer wiring that has been probed with a test light corrosion will later appear , always pull hard on the wire !

I come with same idea but instead fix value of resistance to mount ceramic variable resistor.

Essentially, an incandescent test bulb 💡 would suffice because it's brightness will depend on the quality of the conductors. Nice video 👍

That 9-bulb tester box is a one-off we built here in the shop. But perhaps would should make a future video on how to make one. Thank you for the comment!

This guy is spectacular at both the simplest explanation and the most minute detail. Example: importance of sufficient wire gage and its current carrying ability. He's a lefty, perfect as an artist, a musician, and even an object-oriented programmer. We need more people like him to mentor folks in school. (project tip: zip-tie a strain relief inside the box so tug on power cable doesn't jostle the modules inside).

Any idea who made that yellow 5A load tester? My Google-Fu has not been able to track one down.

Hi! Thanks for the query - that 5A load tester is actually a Sparky original! Your feedback is inspiration for a video of how to make them. Please watch this space!

Hmmm the old 1989 Fleer / Bill Ripken (F*ck face) contrived staged publicity event for Fleer. To this day Bill won't say how much $ Fleer paid him for the "accidental mishap" that happened on purpose 🤷.

I need to measure to the thousandth of an inch. All videos I see show in mm. I have never seen anyone measure in inches using one of these with 3 places to the right of the decimal. Although I see that many popular Mititoyo calipers say that they measure to .0001 or better, there would have to be a way to change the display to show a triple digit readout. Can you do this with the 120 dollar Mititoyo? Somebody anybody please hit me back with an answer.
@chipmaster7738
@chipmaster7738 Жыл бұрын
You want triple digit readout after the decimal point in imperial or metric? Don't think there is a way to change this in imperial to show just 3 digits by the user, and definitely sure there will be none for metric as that would override the accuracy of the caliper. If you want it in imperial just put a piece of black tape over then ten thousands digit(the forth digit after decimal point)

You forgot one more function of the caliper, the "Step" measurement which is located on the back of the caliper. FYI. Any fair-quality caliper will have this functionality. Me I have a high-quality caliper from Kynup.
