Tommy makes you realize that most of the actors everybody makes fun of aren’t actually as bad at acting as we make them out to be. Compared to Wiseau, Dwayne Johnson is Oscar caliber. Compared to Wiseau, Mark Wahlberg is Daniel Day Lewis. Compared to Wiseau, Gal Gadot is um…still Gal Gadot but the point stands nevertheless…

No one else in history has ever created a movie with the same feel and vibe as The Room. It is unique, and it stays in our hearts and minds more than 99% of other movies that are made today.

Tommy Wiseau - the genius who was blending artificial intelligence with table-read level acting (though without a table, and without any acting really) decades before AI was even a thing.

I learn a million times more about film making from this movie and Samurai Cop than I ever could from Saving Private Ryan, or Inception or whatever.

Every time I watch this, I’m convinced the Men in Black will pop up in the background to check on Tommy’s alien immigration status or something.
