I say this every time but this is my favorite year so many HOF players and rookies. Two of the Brad Parks may have been stuck together during the cutting. Tops did not care back then. The cards were made for the collectors for the love of the sport and players.

All the NBA card pictures from the mid to late 1970s always had Washington Bullet players in the background so your observation makes sense.

If you had gotten a double of a different card, you could have had a full house in that pack. But you had to settle for 3 of a kind instead. It's practically impossible to reseal that type of pack, so not a searched pack. I'm sure that I've already told you how to pronounce Gilles Meloche's name, so I'm not gonna do it again!

If Taylor survived and stayed healthy he 100% would be in the HOF now. Another that comes to mind is Eagles DT Jerome Brown. He died in a car wreck in the 1992 offseason. It really knocked the wind out of that Eagles team. Who were contenders and most likely would’ve made a Super Bowl had they stayed intact. In particular the defense.

I collected almost exactly 2,000 different packs thus the Original 2,000 reference as after I started the channel I have gone out and tried to pick up older graded packs and other fun things to open on the channel!

I especially love the old hockey because I wasn't an avid collector of hockey when I was a kid so many of the hockey cards I pull are the first time for me to EVER see those cards! FUN!!!

Hi Wolf! I have always wondered how wax packs are graded and to me it has to come down to the wrapper, gum and seal. If the wrapper is not faded and the corners are tight then that is good. If the gum is not broken then that is good as well. Also, if the seal is intact and roller marks are visible and line up then that will hep the grading. Very nice hockey cards. Any football card made after 1989 really isn't worth anything, I sold a complete set of 1990 Topps football cards unopened still in the box and I got $20 for it and that was 20 years ago. I was educated that after 1989 football cards became so mass-produced that they weren't worth anything because there was so many of every card made that they were basically worthless now. If you want good money for football cards get them 1989 and before, same with baseball cards anything after 89 is worthless.

I built this set in 2022-23. It was a blast. Couldn’t believe how cheap cards from this era have become. I already had the Brady. A few of the insert cards were high. Because few were listed. After getting the master set together I bought 10-12 jersey and auto cards. Of players relevant in that era. McNair, E.George, Brunell, F.Taylor, ect. Even a couple years out I cannot believe how cheap those autos and relics were.

Back in the early 90s there was a card shop that was selling these for like 25 cents each, that pack was special probably went for 50 cents ,pro line holy grail pack lol

@ furthermore, I saw a stat yesterday that Trump received a larger percentage/numer of Latino votes in Michigan. That’s telling. The people have spoken! Democrats lost this election by sticking to non issues matters and focused on identity politics. The true working people don’t care about that. It’s about the economy! I agree. Trump so screwed up Covid-19 that the economy, which was already heading to the dumpster before Covid-19, got so bad that it has taken Biden 4 hard years of working his rear off (with no help from the MAGA House of Reps) to recover from Trump's massive economic mistakes. From day one Trump was propping up his horrible economic policies by spending/adding 8 trillion dollars to the National Deficit much through his tax breaks for the super rich. When Social Security and Obamacare are eliminated in the next 2 years with nothing to replace them we can talk more. And the preference of all the Wolf women I know is to NOT be "protected" by a convicted rapist and adulterer who doubled down on his "right" as a celebrity to grab any women he wants by the crotch. Yes today was a really sh*ty day in the Wolf house, especially for my day who served 2 tours of Vietnam and 1 tour of Korea only to watch a 6 time draft dodger get re-elected to the Commander in Chief position that he so disgraced during his first 4 years. Yep a sad day indeed. The KZbin channel is a nice distraction from the DC sh*t show so I will keep it going for as long as I can.
