Thanks Jim. You smooth bastard you. Only issue now is figuring out this compressor module. 😢

Does the OROA work by pressure only? how does the temperature stem on top of cap effects it?
@hernanguevara345526 күн бұрын
Hi. If I use the RSF Shell with core replacement in retrofit to replace the Hvac equipment but reusing all the pipes, asusuming there are not solid particles only moisture and acidity. I must have a pressure drop through the filter too? If I Only have moisture and acidity do not cause me a pressure drop too?

Great idea in theory, not in reality. Almost every job that we inherit with these types of fittings is leaking. Very costly for the customer to replace all the fittings on their system.

So what's your fix when you have to braze a new one on?
@petersamios54092 ай бұрын
Great video. A couple of times you were out of frame - but all in all a nice presentation. as far as hurting the trade, you are making the trade safer - less chances of burning down anything and a reduction in fumes from the brazing. Also, not carrying explosive gasses is less risk - leave the acetylene in the truck unless needed.

I have AC UNIT using R22 refrigerant and has the txv in the system,my suction pressure is still low while putting in the refrigerant..I check for leak using soap bubbles no sign, I Also change the filter dryer I clean the Ac filters and lastly I clean the all evaporator coil but still giving low suction pressure. What the cause of this? Need help here

Thanks for sharing the information but im seriously confused about dew and bubble point here. In general dew point is when the we see the first droplet but here at saturation line the liquid refrigerant completely converts to vapour then why its called dew point? Can you please clear my doubt

Hi what is the best practice to sweating in a Spolan SORIT valve, is it best to unbolt and removing the upper valve assembly from the body or simply wrapping valve with wet rags?
@sporlanvideo5 ай бұрын
@randylazz It is not necessary to disassemble the valve when soldering to the connecting lines. Any of the commonly used types of solder (such as 50-50, 95-5, Easy-Flo, Phos-Copper or equivalents) are satisfactory. It is important - regardless of the solder used - to direct the flame away from the valve body and avoid excessive heat on the diaphragm of the pilot valve. As an extra precaution, a damp cloth should be wrapped around the diaphragm during the soldering operation.

Question: on a standard balanced port internally equalized valve - can opening the adjustment stem on a system properly operating cause floodback? Or can the "closing forces" always over come flooding assuming everything in the system is running properly and the valve is sized properly? I guess I'm wondering if the adjustment stem is backed all the way out would you have bare minimum superheat or is that garenteed flood back at that point?

It would be nice to use a solder base paste that seals with compression
@JamesPettinato6 ай бұрын
There's a solder lead paste/flux. It would be nice to crimp a fitting without o rings , with lead paste coating and crimp then light heat

I use a copper bender and a hilmore swedger, it would be nice to crimp the swedged connection and eliminate the expense of the special elbow
