I wish I was closer so I could get your weekly homily in person. I need a Bible verse for my frustration and disappointment in myself. I have a goal I’ve been working tirelessly towards, and it has been thwarted by health issues. I’m having a hard time accepting that in my heart. If you have time, please leave a verse here for me to deliberate on. Thank you. Love from the West coast, it’s definitely the wet coast today ❤️✝️

I like to refer to the “elderly” as wisdom. If we listened more and dismissed less, maybe we’d learn from their his-story. Good word father

God waits in the lobby when we we turn from him, tell him to go away. That is resonating so much for me right now, lean into the Father always. Very moving, I too looked after my Moms care, we were blessed that Moms illness did not prevent her from dying a natural death at home. Like Steven the experience touched and changed me profoundly.

I believe Saint Andre Bessette is right to invoke Saint Joseph. We should emphasize Saint Joseph as the Patron of Canada and ask both Brother Andre and Saint Joseph intercede for us and pray for the Church in Canada. Saint Joseph, Patron of Canada, Protector of the Church, and Guardian of the Redeemer, pray for us. 🙏🏻 Saint Andre Bessette, Apostle of Saint Joseph, pray for us. 🙏🏻

Thank you Greg for sharing this wonderful chapter in your life🫠 I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this Podcast. The Holy Spirt works in mysterious ways, we all need to take more time to really listen to our hearts and know our Dear Lord is always right beside us and guiding us through life's journey's. We need to open our hearts and let him him.🙏

Great interview, and such insightful discussion. St John Vianney called the priesthood “the love of the heart of Jesus”. It is a precious vocation and I’m so grateful to hear of a young man responding to this love. Thank you for the reminder to be a parish community that supports and encourages priests and those who might become priests. My own discernment has led me to pray for them every day.

Vey good conversation and I learned a lot about the burdens Dr Lui had to and still has to endure. However why do you call it, Two Peas in a Pod when you have a third person involved? I preferred your former conversations " Spillin the Tea!" I understand that you are involving more people in the parish but perhaps a new title might be best?? Anyway, well done the message is good and blest...perhaps that is enough!

I’m wiping away the tears! This beautiful episode so exemplifies the Gospel being lived out as I’m sure Christ meant it to be. Father Al Ray, you have been such a joy in our parish- your great love of the Eucharist, the Liturgy, our Church, is inspiring. The respect you and Father Rob show each other and Our Lord in serving together at Mass is beautiful. You are leaving our parish, but you will always be in my heart. ❤️

This is such a beautiful episode. Fr. Al Ray, I met you just a few months ago when I started attending mass at Stella Maris and I have been so drawn to the warmth that both you and Fr. Rob exhibit that I am very sad to see you go. You contributed to making the Passion Week one that I will never forget. May God and Mother Mary continue to lead and guide your ministry.

What a beautiful and spiritual podcast 😊 Fr Al Ray, I was saddened to hear the news of you leaving Stella Maris. You have bought such love to our Parish and compassion to every Parishioner especially Fr Rob. Your gentle ways and singing was a blessing.😇 I would pray each day that Stella Maris would be blessed with your presence for as long as possible. I'm so grateful that I met you and for that I will always treasure. Listening to you sing on and off the Altar, your spiritual Homilies, the blessings of many vehicles out in the parking lot. Just talking to you bought me such happiness. You are truly going to be missed Fr Al Ray. I wish you all the best and hope you will come back to visit us. Thank you for everything and may God Bless you and keep you safe each and every day.🙏😊

Thank you so much for that very touching interview Fr Rob, Steven and Simon. It was particularly salutary for me today since I had a conversation with a close friend whose mother is dying but her mother refused to see her. I tried without success to get her to go see her mother instead of sending text messages. She was adament....." my mother never loved me , she's dead in my opinion I have to look after myself!" Her brother is a priest and he is doing nothing to bring these two lost souls together. Anyway to cut a long story short...I got a lot of deep inspiration from your conversation. Thank you. Love truly abides in the faith of God .
