Hey mate, I would 100% sell cook to DWJ and Marshall to Mooney maybe? Cook is gonna lose like 30k and would move on from him

@wilbarrett205 can't do that as I don't have dpp if I sell a FWD I have to bring in a fwd, can't bring in 2 guards unless I sell 2 guards, plus cook is possible of a 70-80 so if he can manage that he would lose just as much money as Marshall if I chose to trade cook over Marshall ( as i need KDs money ) 😜 so I'm gonna keep some faith!

508 this week, not having Cook ended up being the play, a nice shot up the ranks for me. White was a decent one week cash injection, but I'll move him on to McCarron. I might move Henshall to Froling, thought about Hurt, but tough schedule doesn't do him any favours. I considered boosting out Mennenga, but I'd only have 230k to work a trade, and I'm not sold on anyone at his price. I'll mostly make Kell captain this week, but I haven't ruled out going to Prather or even DWJ. What are your thoughts?

@luppy2706 liking this alot, I would prefer hurt over froling as a bit more of a pod pick against the comp, but as we saw with cotton, going the pod route doesn't always work haha

I got stuck with PJC on my bench and copped Smith Milners 3 and Cameron's 6. Still managed to score 433 and won 4 of my 5 match ups but dropped 100 odd ranks to 1205 Cook really took a large turd on my chest 😩

Only 374 this week, Glover just existed in game two and nothing else, Davis doing Davis things, Mennenga just sucks. I've gone Humhpries to Harrell, and I'm likely going Glover to DWJ, this leaves me with 81k itb. I do have one boost left and I'm tempted to use it now to fix my cash gen, I need Darling and Mennenga out of my team, I was thinking of moving Henshall by around 15/16, but after the Webster news, I'll be comfortable holding him for a bit longer. I'm more likely to trade Darling then Mennenga (I'll trade him next week), I'm thinking he'll go to either Marshall (with DJV out) or Gak/Krislovic (with Magnay out). What are your thoughts?

@luppy2706 thought process is good, I am a Marshall fan, but does rely on scoring the ball, love the henshall hold, I'm really tempted too aswell so you deffs go the right ideas, DVJ was travelling ahead of schedule tho, so this could shoot Marshall trades in the foot :(

@@vernssupercoach8262 last year i didn't generate enough cash and it felt like i was bring a knife to a machine gun fight for the last half of the season. I was really focused on cash early. As you've noticed, most people have 5 studs on court this time of year so the bench becomes the point of difference in scores.

490 this week, started Doolittle captained PJC, left 69 points on the table with my mistakes. Brought in Humphries and started him over Harrison, at least I started Prather (decided not to get White to afford him). This week I've gone Cotton/Doolittle to Davis/Peatling (or Marshall with Dech out for 2 weeks), which leaves me with 164k itb, meaning I have to start Mennenga. I've thought about using my boost now, either 1) Humphries to Harrell OR 2) Henshall to Kell: Getting Harrell means I go Henshall/Glover to Days/Macdonald next week (can't afford Kell), getting Kell means I go Glover/Humphries to Harrell/Macdonald (can't afford Days). What are your thoughts?

sounds like a great position to be in! I know I'm a bit slow to this again as usual but i like holding the boost the week and just having humph on the bench, think Days is a steal at the price so pref this route!

447 this week, highest score of the season, brought in Cotton (and captained), PJC was overshadowed, Glover still solid on the single, Henshall did his job. Doolittle was servicable, had Pinder and Harrison at centre, Mennenga saved himself, brought in Darling instead of Almansa to bank the cash. Long story short, the guards were the only thing that went right this week. 137k itb, I traded out AHT/Pinder, I was looking for White, but that would only leave me with 207k for the second player, I would've gone Rasputin/Peatling, but wasn't all that confident with one of them on the bench and didn't like anyone else in my range, so I ended up getting Prather back and get Mennenga off the court, and also Humphries, that way I could've started him over Harrison this week and ride him on the bench for an extra week. I was stumped for captains, my first thought was sticking with Cotton, but ended up going to PJC with b2b home games, even with tougher matchups. What are your thoughts?

I need to dump Webster, AHT and Lopez with two trades (I want to save my last boost for now). AHT/Webster gives 424k, which can get Mooney/Windler and an average bench option, or if I get Cotton/Adams, I'll only be able to afford someone like Naar. Lopez/AHT gets me 493k, which can get me to Cotton/Adams and an average bench option, Mooney/Windler and Almansa or Cooks to a less than average bench option (or Naar). Webester/Lopez gets me Cotton/Adams and Almansa, Cooks and an average bench option, or get two of Mooney/Windler/Prather/Batemon/Bannan. What are your thoughts?

377 this week, starting to get back on track after that horrid stretch a few weeks ago. Kept Webster on the bench for Henshall/PJC, I held Glover, captained White (highest scorer on my team). Ended up getting AHT over Makoi (needed one to afford Lopez), it was a flip of a coin with these two, went heads when I should've gone tails, just how it goes. I'm currently thinking Hurt/White to Doolittle/Harrison (one of them will be my captain). Leaves me with 78k to bank on next week, unless there's a trade that's worth my final boost (like AHT to Prather, but will wait another couple weeks before that). Hopefully this and some more forward thinking can save my season.

I like it a lot, since i do think Doolittle and Harrison will be up there for the biggest scores this round it should be very solid getting them in! We all feel ya with Makoi, one of those misses that was considered and now a huge regret :(

The original plan was to go Olbrich + Toohey -> Webster + Doolittle (they confirmed that Webster will play), I had a few other thoughts and that was my downfall. I reversed my trades until I made a decision so that I wasn't locked in to the trades, but I ended up missing the lockout, and accidentally left Robertson on court again FML. I have enough cash to go Olbrich to Pinder, do I hold Prather until his doubles or do I trade him to get Webster knowing he'll be on my bench this week. Thought about trading Mennenga, but something is telling me to hold this week, plus not a whole lot of value in his price range aside from maybe Almansa. I don't have Cooks (thanks again Armstrong), but I have decided to captain Jack White this week since he has better matchups than PJC. What are your thoughts?

Awesome captain to start, that sucks to of missed lockout, makes life so much harder, i do think you can trade prather, for webstar, think he will be really good, and you can always get prather back for there good run at a similar price anyways! so olbrich + prather -> Pinder webstar sounds nice to me :)

310 this week, traded Glover for Robertson, no Magnay, held Adams, Galloway is a spud, barely in the Top 4k, can we just end the season now? Galloway has to go. One way is trade Galloway and bite the bullet to get Glover back (depending on DWJ's status) and use the money to go Toohey (even though he's on the double) to Hurt. I have one boost left and I won't use it until I need it, I feel like I can trade without boosting this week. Henshall isn't a priority trade for me, with Cotton likely out for a while, he now has a role, so he should average at least 20 minutes in that span and start most of those games. A lot for me to think about this week. What are your thoughts?

I got off him pretty early, after round 2 I believe, even though I thought holding him was a viable option. I'm at the bit of the video where you are looking at Henshall out. Personally I'm back to thinking Henshall is a hold with Cotton likely to miss, dual position flex, and 5 doubles in a row Sobey is my pod pick of the week, I like his upside. People forget he is historically a 26-28 sc scorer, currently down a bit on form, but if DWJ misses time, he could be great. Also, he was poor early 22/23 but bounced back under a coaching change. He can't go worse than he is currently playing I'm also on a heavy cash focussed growth right now. My Total team value is $2,681,000 which is mega right now. Have has some really good cash trades like Gak round 4, Waardenburg round 3, rode Leaupepe from the beginning, and dropped Adams this week to avoid his massive

Deciding to hold Armstrong has killed me, having a 0 every week when you've got Pepper and Henshall stinking it up then if one of starters like White has a stinker it hurts you bad. 247 this week, didn't even crack 10k round rank and dropped over 2k in overall. Armstrong out ruined everything, had to bring in Adams since I needed a guard and wasn't convinced by anyone else and it meant that I couldn't get Cooks, and also boosted to get rid of Hickey for Prather (couldn't get him through Olbrich, and pretty sure I could've afforded to trade Henshall to get him). Mostly stock-standard this week, Davis+Harrell -> PJC+Mennenga, but I've also decided to fix my bench for a second week in a row (using my 3rd boost already) and finally moving Glover up to Robertson, leaving me with 77.3k. Not too worried about Robertson (even with Adams playing) since he's got a -16 BE and he got early minutes before the injury which tells me they're letting him in the main rotation, and started game 2 so I've got confidence in this pick (even if he's a 1-2 week play), plus with a likely blowout against the JJs, he'll get an added opportunity to boost his score. What are your thoughts?

I'm definitely going Ili>Armstrong, and probably White>Cooks (prefer not to, but the only way I can get Cooks). Likely not going to boost this week, might use one next week to cash in and load up on NZ, but if I did, it would probably have been to move on from Glover to anyone <130k, but no one is really worth it this week. What are your thoughts?

Like it a lot, think boosting Glover out is a waste, he's basically a base price rookie playing good minutes, yes the scores have sucked but if he just gets one spike or or even turns it around to 8-10 SC points a game then he will make money and be better then any player cheaper then him.

If you want to save the boost and groves is named You could go Adams out and hold hickey. Which isn’t ideal of course, but allows you to get cooks in at Fwd instead of Galloway (and you just field armstrong) I think Armstrong being a must opens up the door to trade Adams who you otherwise wouldn’t have traded

I think im more happy to burn a boost over moving Adams, sorta feels counter productive moving him and i think takes away from the huge advantage I've given myself by holding him

Especially given you consider him the best captain option this week I do think it’s important not to get too caught up on the intent of your previous moves (I.e holding Adams) if situations change (i.e the very playable Armstrong becoming a must, and cooks becoming an “effective must” if Galloway becomes not overly appealing). Not necessarily saying it’s a bad move to boost to keep Adams, but I do think it’s worth considering given you can easily get a playable 5 without the boost via this route
