It was leaking fuel and the first thing you did was replace the whole carburetor assembly? Mine was leaking and I watched this and then another video. Turned out it was simple the needle in the fuel bowl must have been stuck. Logic: Fuel comes in from tank. Fills fuel bowl Float rises and pushes needle up to block flow when bowl fills. Airflow will pull fuel into carb. So if it’s just pouring out gas apparently the needle is stuck open or the float is stuck down. Might be able to fix it simply whacking the fuel bowl a bit to unstick it (sticks commonly if stored for a while) Worst case, tilt unit or drain gas. Remove fuel bowl. Unstick float or needle. May be gunked up with old fuel. Dont even need to remove the carb. Free fix other than time. Takes 2-30 minutes. And prepare to hunt for the inevitably missing 10mm socket.

You can get covers that screw onto your the end of the MiG gun that help mitigate the amount of spatter that gets onto the end of your MiG gun and should help the spatter all around

I want to build a rack for my Ridgid small parts organizers (I have 16 of them and removing all 15 to get to the bottom one is getting old fast). I want to use steel tubing and bar to make a rack and will use flux core. I do have a tank of C25 to mig weld but I want to save that for when I have more hours of practice with gasless. AWESOME. I actually have the smaller version that requires you to pull a trigger to work. A little of a pain if you have a really low car tire but still works well. I definitely like your model better. Yep, always something unexpected happens when you are doing a video. LOL, Been there, done that, many times. 🙂

Hey there Juan, It's challenging. For me, I had to figure out what model I had. Then I started searching for carb. That wasn't enough though because there are so many variations of one model that I couldn't figure it out. I began to see a pattern though, where a carb that was listed referenced a lot of compatible units. Then I started to cross reference that on amz and narrowed it down. If you reply to this comment I won't see it though due to some settings. So create a new comment with your pressure washer model number. If you are on insta make a post with some photos showing the model and manufacturer of your pressure washer. And tag RealUDoIt and I'll see it that way. If you DM me on insta I might not see it. - John

Thank you again for your feedback. I don't have an article written for this yet. I will write one to help go into more detail. This was a little tricky as there is a bolt down on the side of the battery that goes into a battery mounting block and screws into the battery tray. Removing the terminals from the battery posts can be difficult because of corrosion that eats away the metal on the bolt. Sometimes you have to use a different size socket or use pliers. I was grunting lifting the battery from this height. Also, there is a spray you can apply to the terminals after you replace the battery to reduce this corrosion. - John

Thank you Jose! I have three battery powered pumps and a 12V plug in pump by Husky. Two sent to me for review and they seem to work fine. I am not finished editing the video yet. But this Ryobi is a beast and works well. If you have a tire that is constantly losing air like mine, this is the perfect addition to your survival kit.

IKR!!! BTW I have no idea what I'm doing. The repair made in this video ended up leaking again, so I put in a 'more better' solution using all plastic. So far it's been solid and no leaks detected. I put in a white plastic tailpiece with a dishwasher nib. The reason why it was leaking later was because the interface between the coupling nuts, the washer, and the tailpiece was not a good fit. It worked well for years, but then we noticed it would sag (actually fall down on the tailpiece and nearly became disconnected). By putting in a plastic tailpiece that was compatible with the trap it was solid. - John

I replaced the faucet in my guest bathroom, and everything was going well until I needed to remove the nut from the drain pipe. I tried everything I could to loosen it, but ultimately I had to give up and saw it off. It worked out after that. Lol

Hello Colleen, it is very difficult to control this when it is fully extended with a strong pressure washer. As you can see in my video, it is tossing me around as soon as I pull the trigger. It's like a rocket. It is a little easier with my smaller electric pressure washer. If you are able to safely reach your gutters, a vacuum cleaner or a leaf blower will work very well. Around the 12minute mark in this video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3mQkomEe5eaZqs you'll see I used my vacuum and a long hose. But, this was on my lower gutters. I would not attempt this on my higher gutters. - John

UGH! This pressure washer finally kicked it - water is gushing out from underneath - I'll inspect it but I suspect the pump area is done. I bought a cheapo electric pressure washer and I was pleasantly surprised with its performance. It just can't power my surface cleaner. So I'll have to use my other Troy Bilt gas powered pressure washer. - John

Since I was 3-4 years old, I have been so fascinated with channel markers, seeing them on the Cheboygan River in Michigan and counting the numbers. Since then, I have given myself a quest to find the highest number there is; I’m pretty sure this stretch of ICW has it, with 479. Nothing else I’ve seen comes close. Finally seeing actual videos with 4XX numbers makes my childhood self so very happy. I am 25 now.

We love spending every summer there whether it's on the water or inland. Hello there ... At 6:28 I show how I'm cutting away the liner material to fit around the magnetic latches. As far as cutting the liner for the width of the inside, I recommend using one of the removeable shelves as a template. Hope this helps - John

The 90 on bevel is set with the screw near the bevel guage on the left sticking up. Youll see blue on the threads

HA! Good point - it worked by removing the gunk. I have since moved onto a larger JOBY that I use for either a small portable LED light or a GoPro. I'm also using smallrig articulating arms and superclamps. Thanks - John

Hey there - WD-40 works but for deposits that are really solidified you'll need carb cleaner and maybe even a set of carb brushes. In case you didn't know, WD-40 also makes a carb cleaner. - John

Got it cleaned out. Buddy came by and took the carburetor off and blew out the carb with carb cleaner. It was definitely gummed up.
