so it had four theme songs. Cool! My favorite character on this show, though, was Mrs. Bellows. It was cool that the actress was one of the many characters on The Golden Girls.

for a college educated airforce officer Nelson is sure vague at providing descriptions of a boat and a helicopter. I know, its a comedy and supposed to be funny.

“I’m so flattered that you want to be like me.” Paige got a lesson in throwing shade by Abby-Jedi Shade Mistress. Silly girl. Didn’t she get the memo that a smiling Abby is a dangerous Abby? She instantly deflated Paige with that one line alone. The rest of her monologue was chefs kiss perfect and a gift for the viewers. Poor Paige never stood a chance.

I’ve always believed Season 1 was it’s strongest season. All 30 episodes were great. Most series have good first seasons, but this show is a rare for its first season is it’s strongest, the scripts are top notch, nothing feels rehashed, it’s all new, even the acting is the best! This season introduces us to every character in the main cast, which I love. This episode is a favorite of mine.

1:12 What was funny is that Abby said everything she had she earned yet she became rich because of Gary's inheritance from his father.
@AndyBluebear-fi9om4 ай бұрын
Yeah and that was compensation enough for being married to Gary, no? Plus the fact that Gary loses much of his inheritance a few years after Abby leaves (yeah I know they were no longer together by this point but still) shows who the financial brains in that relationship was...

Liggett & Myers [L&M, Lark, Chesterfield King] was the primary sponsor during the first season. On alternate weeks, other advertisers bought various minutes (including Polarioid and Sea & Ski [the makers of Pet'm]). This is the June 18, 1966 repeat of the January 15, 1966 episode.
