Hey man! For the fast lick at 4:02, are you starting with a down-pick on that 17th fret? And consequently, is your first strike on the 2nd string (the 15th fret) an upward motion? I noticed in the slowed down tutorial you start both runs (on the 1st and 2nd strings) with a downpick, but that would mean 2 concurrent downpicks from the 1st/12 to the 2nd/15. Just trying to make sure I'm practicing it correctly!

I can see by the chords that this is in the key of C, but what mode is it? It certainly doesn’t sound like C major (Ionian)
