I think bowie and other artists are quite unique and fragile in a sense. As artists. Like glass. Can be broke . N innovative yet put himself in a box to unleash his innocent child for all

I remember that concert. It was in the rtb studio in the commune of Schaerbeek. I was in the audience. The second band that evening was Secret Affair. Good souvenirs.

What a gift!! I was so in love with Simple Minds back then. Listening to Jim's voice is hypnotizing and I love all of his reflections on traveling. I'm a Dutch woman living in the US and can relate to all the hotels looking the same (which is still less the case in Europe). I never thought about how this can be disorienting, but it's true that it makes experience so much less embedded within unique locations that we move around in... thank you for sharing this!

[Slovenščina] zame, meni je tako zelo poseben. Zaradi diapazona. Zaradi prezence. Ko pa je v resnici bil zase sam. Saj ni nič narobe s tem: je že pač želel to. Kdo si [na koncu? Konec koncev?] tega ne želi? Biti svobodno. Ne ujet. [me zanima, kako to prevedejo tile najsodobnejši vmesniki! V resnici pa; ni pomembno, ker: vsak zase že ve. Vemo. Ali kako, ljudje vendar!?]

If this was an intended skit on how to categorically misunderstand, it would be genius. Instead it's just Barry Norman at his usual worst. Middle-brow, middle-class and deeply anti-intellectual, Norman always considered cinema to be an entertaining rather than a cultural medium. Look at a list of his top 10 favourite films. Any cinephile would point and laugh.
