So as I understand it here, CTO means chronic total occlusion. What I wasn't able to catch is what PCI means. Any help, please? I ask because a couple of weeks ago I was told by an interventional cardiologist that I'm running on seven out of nine coronary arteries, and that it's too risky to try and do anything about it. What do you think? I don't want to go through the rest of my life dependent on nitrostat, which doesn't always help that much!

Percutaneous coronary intervention, sometimes people just say angioplasty. they're not exactly the same but Angioplasty is one of the key procedures in PCI along with Stenting. as for your situation, i'm not sure. it's always best to get a professional second opinion as internet suggestions may be inaccurate and risky since no one has a comprehensive background check on you :(

I have myself had a VATS for Incidental Thymoma performed by Dr Narasimman just last week . Discharged on D2. No complications. Back to work on D8. Very skillful surgeon. Bright future.

@1:06 incorrect use of cuff, you're not supposed to put it over clothing, for accurate results the cuff should always be wrapped around the arm without any obstruction

I'm dealing with something of this nature. 4 years ago I had a lower left lobectomy. There are two nodules in that lung presently, one is spiculated. There are three more in my right lung. We've been checking, they haven't grown, fortunately. Scans are taking place later this month, so here we go again with the anticipation. I may be a candidate this time around for so-called minimally invasive robotic surgery. Although I've been cut several times, I'm thankful for it because I don't want to die on a bed thrashing around in pain.
