We all wish and wonder why our dogs can’t live/stay with us as we get older and have them be there in our golden years. My lab will some day take me to the end of his journey and I will also scream “ It’s not fair”. So for now every day is a gift and a honoring of their friendship and trust with us. When he eats my last protein bar- without my knowledge and just leaves the wrapper hidden in his bed- it’s totally Ok. If they want more nap time then awake time, enjoy your dreams because no one nor anything is going to hurt you/ you’re protected. The videos will still be taken, the walks more enjoyable and the body rubs will continue because it’s a gift to watch you embrace my Love. Every day is your gift to me…I will cry, I will always mourn until you come back in my dreams to let me know you are ok,healthy and having fun.You’ll release me from my sorrow and I thank you for coming into my life….🙏🏼

I loved this Netflix series, and the song haunted me so much I had to find it. Somehow the song captures the feeling of warmth, joy and sadness of connecting with a dog. So sweet…

My Lucy is my heart ❤️. I adopted her when she was almost 2 and now she is almost 13. As I watch her getting grayer and slower my heart aches because I know that her time to cross the Rainbow Bridge is getting closer. The rescue center would only allow her to be adopted by someone who didn't work outside the home because she was so needy. I was that fortunate person who got to take this wonderful dog home with me, and she has been my constant companion and best friend ever since. She is my cuddle buddy who looks at me with those adoring big brown eyes that melts my heart ❤️. I love her so very much, and I read a quote recently that said "anyone who has never experienced the love of a dog is a person whose soul has never been truly awakened". That is so true and I thank God for Lucy and the years we have shared 🙏

I was always a cat person until we moved to the country and our neighbors said we need a dog. I never got what dog people saw until we welcomed this dog into our lives. "Monkey" an Austrailian Shepherd has changed our lives forever and we learn so much from him. We give him the best life for I want him to live forever. Thank you for making this video.

My GOLDEN RETRIEVER’S OLLIE AND SADIE LOVE going to THE WOODS- I wish I had a pond by me or something. I had a BLACK LAB ( Jayden) and Golden ( Bear) they were the first dogs we took to the woods!! They loved it!! I miss those Dogs!!!!!

I remember my first dog buster we lived in an 86 acer ranch. I became homeless and was sleeping by a bridge in Colton CA. 3 months later we started hiking a cemetery. The sun was setting. I said to him I didn't know how long the lord will give us together but let's make the best of it two weeks later he was gone. Stolen while I was sleeping. By two drug addicted people. When I walked the cemetery alone now I asked the lord why .then I was given one of his sisters. Who reminds me of him .those who have never loved a dog 🐕 a part of one's soul remains un awaken ❤

There’s not a day goes by when I don’t miss and think about Teddy, my Cocker Spaniel, who crossed the rainbow bridge last year. I love him so much, a true gift from God. I walked in the woods with my golden retriever. It was his favorite thing. In all seasons. Even snow. He passed almost 10 years ago. I only have the memories now. I miss him everyday.
