i cant find much info on this locations pre 2.0 history kinda a shame...... i live just across the st croix in hudson wi and occasionally go to woodbury to sams club and stuff and i wa curious how long this cec has been there shocked to learn it opened pre covid in 2014

Yeah personally I would’ve preferred to have West Des Moines and La Crosse’s stage saved too but this is all the Midwest has now so, best thing we can do is appreciate what we have!

Right, they had blue, purple, and pink. This one in MN was the last one that had any of those old colors visible anywhere inside! Pretty soon it’ll all be gone 😞

I love the tostadas! I was so sad when they got rid of them. All i ate growing up was taco bell and I pretty much survived off of the tostadas.

@ pretty much all through out elementary school. I was vegetarian by my own choice and my mom didn’t really cook so i ate Taco Bell pretty much everyday and the tostadas were my favorite

looks like righr eye lid only unsticks when left eyelid is working. and left body turn on mitzi/ cu helen is stuck more towards fatz/mr munch. other wise those cei bots are in good condition other wise. looks like mitzi/cu helen henny needs newer feathered pigtails and needs eyelashes too.😊

Amazing job. I liked that improvisation on the last strain. I genuinely can’t comprehend people learning by ear. I tried to work out a piece once and got absolutely no where but I can play everything at sight with a piece of sheet music. It really baffles me.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video! Learning stuff by ear is a challenge, though the first thing you wanna do with it is listen to the designated piece of music you want to learn over and over again until you have it glued to your head. Sometimes you have to take it apart and study it if you want most if not all details to be accurate. The more you do it, the more used to the strategy you get, and the quicker you can learn stuff that way! Keep practicing, my friend! 🎹

35:25 This part caused quite a stir back in 1981, because it sounded like Mitzi was saying "Fucking down Santa Claus Lane" instead of "Walking down Santa Claus Lane". I like to believe this was what spurred CEI to dump Monique Danielle and find someone who wasn't just going to impersonate Aaron's Mitzi voice (because it involved slurring to the point that words could be misinterpreted), and auditioning young girls to take over the role, which is how Shalisa took on the role starting with the Tribute to Abbey Road showtape in late 1982.

I was there that day! I watched the Rockafire with you and Anthony! I had such a great time there and it was so nice to meet and talk to you and Anthony and to watch my favorite animatronics! this place looks so awesome, so many cool things, and their rockafire looks so good it makes me so happy to see that they finally get to perform for the public. the christmas decorations on the stage and their matching scarves really made me smile :)
