The sad part is you can pull it out and do an aluminum repair quickly but they would never authorized that and then when you give him a quote for a new quality freak out

No one ever does maintenance on restaurant equipment that's why when we come out it's usually filter completely blocked corrosion has done its job and eaten through the cheap aluminum that they use these days then they bitching complain about hey I need to replace this section

You could also get the 24v from the R and G from the board makes it’s a little less messy

Highly recommend adding nitrogen to get pressure as high as possible via data tag. I remember I couldn’t find a leak on a unit even though I knew it was there. Once I added nitrogen with a trace gas I was able to find it. Just a heads up man 👊🏽 good find G

You should gauge up and if low charge it before you leak search.. you'll have higher pressure to find your leak

You need to add some narration to what you are seeing and doing. I'm interested in the trouble shooting process, and the order it should be done. Comment on the state of equipment you are working on and what if anything you would have like to see different. Great shots on the leaks on the coil, and both the major and minor leaks.

You're not supposed to roll the belt on , first thing you loosen the pulley and adjust the belt (using a belt tension tool!

Cut the bleed resistor out before testing cap. Get a box of five resistors with female spade terminals for truck stock.

As soon as I saw multiple burned components I would suspect that the compressor was bad. How much amperage were those connections pulling, anyway?

Yea we always change out starting components before condemning compressor, and it only pulled a couple amp.s then cut out

Could wire temporary through Y1 and 2 through switches back to the contactor to get them temporary cooling They will love u since this heat is no joke these days

I replace them when rusted out and a lot of times I believe they leak out there pressure inside of bulb

I had a similar issue with vfd carrier package system. But the blower motor was good checked electrical whindings before condemning the vfd. Blown fuses(2) replaced them blew the new fuses. Replaced vfd set up the parameters on the new vfd.
