iPhone 15 Pro for the zoomed videos and iPhone 11 for a few others. Both sound very clear by the way. Have a look at the rest of the songs in my channel. I think I managed to record the whole concert :D

I have come to the conclusion that this angle gives the best sound quality. Standing in the pit muffles the sound, due to so many people standing between the recorder and the speakers.

James kept drinking something throughout the whole show and I’m guessing it had something to do with his throat. I think he’s gonna be ok and doesn’t need to retire anytime soon as people are suggesting 😄

I think something is wrong with James.. Because he is a phenomenal vocalist.. I saw him live.. His range is just outstanding even in live.. It was not his day.. He will recover for sure..

Ooof James sounds bad. It would seem that it wouldn't be too hard for him to adjust the melody to fit his current abilities, but he's just meandering around notes that make no musical sense. It sounds lazy to me. What a shame because the rest of the band sounds fantastic and it's great to see MP back on his throne.

Honestly, when I compare this to Breaking the fourth wall, for example, and Overture 1928 and Strange Deja Vu there, Mike Mangini and his delicate drumming were far superior to whatever this is.

BS. 1) the band sounds great 2) you’re comparing produced video vs. cell phone footage, come on now. 3) the energy in the crowd is way higher here-these guys are killing it. A fairer comparison in sound would be the overture 1928 Portnoy shot for his Shattered fortress tour in 2017. I get it, Mangini is your guy and that’s fine. He’s an awesome drummer. No need to crap on the performance because your guy’s not behind the kit.

Is hard to not point out that Labrie can't sing those songs as he did back in the best days. They should adjust the songs to a point where he would be comfortable singing. This tour will be tough on his voice. On the bright side, the instrumental part is jawdroping as always!
