It is not a budget it is a spending wish list made to screw over Canadians and not help them. The capital gains tax is an inheritance tax in "hiding" for one reason. It will effect all the middle class of Canada. If you choose to give your house, cottage, land etc the property/homes will have to be assessed and whomever you leave it to will pay Capital Gains tax on the value of the gift. That's the truth of the Capital Gains Tax. Trudeau/Singh coalition will never call it an inheritance tax because the Liberals promised to never bring in an inheritance tax, but please believe when I say that's exactly what Capital Gains tax is.
