The forms are based upon SharePoint Lists. By Navigating to the List Settings > Advanced Settings > Item-Level Permissions, you can set the Read Access to 'Read items that were created by the user'. Lightning Forms also contains Actions allowing permissions to be handled. I hope this helps.

There is currently create/update/delete support for the SQL Azure data source, with more on our roadmap for 2024.

Or if you prefer, you can include URLs within your post. - You can "favorite" a topic thread, and that will then be available in a personal Favorites view. - The organization of Forum Groups and Forums is set by an admin and can only be changed by them. Within a Forum, topic threads are displayed with the most recent topic at the top, unless the admin has pinned one or more topics to always be at the top. Within a topic thread, members can choose to view posts chronologically, by author, by rating, or view only the post/s marked as an answer or featured. A fair question... The function of the Data Viewer is to take data from a specified data source, and visualize it, whereas the function of the Lightning Conductor is to retrieve and display the data itself. If you want to use the two tools together, you get a 25% discount on the Data Viewer :)

If you are using the cross-site Data Lookup column in Lightning Forms, you would need to create a new Data Lookup column to connect to a different list in a different site. If you are not using Lightning Forms, it's not possible in standard SharePoint to create a lookup column connected to a list in another site; SharePoint lookup columns only work with lists in the current site. Does this answer your question?

Ah - you had mentioned before that you wanted to change the site :-) As far as we're aware, it's not possible in SharePoint to change the list to which a lookup column is connected, because it's really a whole different connection. You would need to add a new lookup column to connect to that different list. Or perhaps it could be possible via code in some way (?), but that's far beyond the scope of this channel.

Thanks for your question, Ian. It's true that often the end result is the same. However, you have different options for each of those sharing methods (for example with Sharing a Link you can't specify permissions other than Edit or View). Also they're reported differently in the SharePoint Manage Access pane ("Links giving access", and "Direct access").

Yes correct! You can break the permission inheritance on the Document Library in the Library Settings. Then assign users to the Document Library.
