After I turned 30 (34 y/o until the 23rd) survival games are almost the only games I enjoy anymore

Good video. Some of the stuff you discussed was a bit inaccurate. But overall it was fun to watch. Reminds me of when I started playing when it first hit steam.

Spade is for harvesting potatoes. After a bed, priority is finding yucca to make rope to make the water collector. The first axe is so precious. You need at least 14% of the axe to build the collector.

I got to play the beta as well, and agree that this game has huge potential.

Been playing co-op. Absolutely loving it. Won't be using blade traps again, at least until they are worth it; they break way too fast.

Very fun game with friends too! Just learned how to make red tea and its very useful

So they all died at the bottom because of spikes? I don't think spikes last long with zombies attacking them, so you want another way to hurt them, maybe another electrical fence down there. I think there's a way to hook up the nodes on an outer wall where the zombies can't immediately get to them. I do love the idea of trapping them down there, at least, with the grated floor!

There's a few things I don't like about this game and 1 of the things is how zombies hide and wait to jump on you. A zombie hiding in a cabinet is just dumb. If zombies were this smart and over powered with magical abilities they would destroy the human race in no time. I know it's just a game but I'd like to see some realism. Great video 👍

Why do you use such a primitive base type?

Would be nice if we could have a minecraft realms style personal servers to make multi-player easier.

I'm not into stealth builds, but this looks fun. I lean towards explosives myself. This game is even better than the hype!

I built something similar to this last year. I dug to bedrock. But I suspended my base about 15 blocks below ground level. I used the thinner poles. I also used the diagonal poles pointing downward about 4 blocks below ground level. Place them wherever you want the zombies to drop down from. It helps control their pathing.

you can change the quest limit in the settings, up to 8 or i believe unlimited?? (which would be no limit) its by default set to 3, which is stupid. tfp really out here ruining the game one update at a time.

as a side note, open your shape menu, and make sure you have on the left side the categories fully deselected, you can tell when something is selected as itll be slightly discolored. after deselecting open the search bar, and type double double, and place them bars against the wall, and bar against bar to the next wall, teh bars will become invisible and i guess in some way unable to be touched, be sure to upgrade them first so that they dont get destroyed by explosions, as i do beleive they can still be damaged, just not by normal attacks? also your biulding collapsed if you dont know, because blocks have a certain weight limit and your square pillars wasnt enough strength, if you have admin power, open your console type in "dm" hit escape and on the far right a new window should be on your screen, one of the options will be stability turn that on and you can see your building stability and where its weak and needs better support. the double double, i mentioned earlier is shown really well in a video by cautiouspancake, doing probably something similar in concept to what youre attempting, but explains it and shows a better way that you can go off of and create your own base off of. search on youtube, "99% Invulnerable Horde Base" and itll be about a pit32 base.

watching you dig so much with a stone shovel was painful, please go to a trader and buy an iron shovel or something, or put points into miner 69'er you do more block damage with thatperk which makes it take significantly less shovel whacks to remove blocks. its also a pretty decent skill when you get it and motherload as it increases yield from all resource nodes.

In 1.0 you have option to copy block so you can place the same block in the same orientation like previous one. Next you can add to favorite blocks you have in your build so in the future you won't take time to search for that proper bar to rebuild later

above the opening where you fight put a ramp block upside down so when the zombies try to get on top they are pushed back and cant get up. I would put a door on the back behind you so nothing can grab you from the back.. just play around with the different builds, that is the fun part :)

Hellz yeah! Lol, I struggled hard-core on first 12 days, much different than what us console players are used too

The limits 4 for me. I play on Playstation and you can change how many quests you get to do, I think they changed it because people were abusing how many times you could and making the game less fun by getting tons of weapons and ammo without having to look through PUI's

The way to fight vultures is the same way as ground based zombies when you don't know what direction they're coming from: back away in one direction as fast as you can. That will force them to approach your front side, so you can see them. When you freeze in place, it makes you into sitting duck. Go backward, and don't change direction, if you can. I used to use this same tactic in Ark when those group of scorpion thingies would blind me, back away without changing direction. They'll all end up directly in front of you very quickly and you can just start jabbing, even if you can't see.

OK I like your personality. Kind of laid back, not feeling like you're performing. Not already perfect at the game, making mistakes. It's a bit boring watching people who never get anything wrong play.

Console wasnt stuck but sabotaged by the company in charge of distribution who refuse even to this day to give it back to the fun pimps. thats why you can just update nd they have to re release it as a new game and are working on ways to give discounts to those that bought the older version

With B330 they put it up to 4 again, Not sure why they thought limiting it to 3 was a good idea lol
