I left a comment on your video two uploads ago. I'm still unclear on how to achieve the same financial success you've shown. After watching your latest video, I'm seeking: - A set plan to generate a similar monthly income. - Details on how much initial capital is needed. - Recommendations on where to invest this capital, including: - Growth stocks - High-yield dividends - Derivative dividends - Other investment types you've mentioned Apologies for the lengthy comment. Thank you for your help in advance.

Heyy sorry I must have missed the comment. I'll do my best to answer the question, though a lot of time the answer is not as linear as we would hope. So before we can come to the answer there are few factors that you have to keep in mind, such as: - How much risk can you stomach (like if it went the wrong way are you able to stomach large drop in your investment and a huge set back?) - How long of a runway do you have? Like are you planning to achieve this in 2 years? 5 years 15 years? - How much are you starting with and what are your resources that you can pull to achieve the goal? Unfortunately, there are no one size fit all answer to achieving this goal. Everyone situation, how the goal might look like ,etc. is different. Those who claim to have a absolute solution is either delusional, or trying to sell or something or sponsored by someone. I'm not trying to give you a no answer answer, but this is the reality of this path. However, one thing that I think is absolutely crucial is to keep learning and just start investing. And by investing I'm not talking about gambling on meme crypto or options. Without knowing more context of your situation, I personally would set up a fund that you are alright not touching and let it grow (while contributing as much as you can). This fund can start with low fee index based ETF like VOO, QQQ (if you are in the US). This will be a good start while you learn more and slowly expand to other funds that might fit your goal as you know more. Hope this helps

I think I remember watching your video tutorials on how to efficiently merch NX in the Maplestory Trade shop nearly 15 years ago. I used your videos as inspiration and applied the same techniques to my own merching strategies in Maplestory. Now here I am 15 years later, I too am working towards FIRE and I structure my portfolio in an extremely similar way lol. I've even considered Thailand as an early retirement destination depending on how burnt out I get along the FIRE journey. If I retired to Thailand I'd only be a few years away from my fire number... definitely a tempting option.

Hi Tony, thank you for sharing how your portfolio is structured as an early retired couple. I liked how you divided your capital into sections, growth, income etc. I do own VFV, its an excellent growth builder for Canadians. Do you own any other U.S. ETFs/funds besides Tesla? also what online brokerage do you use? Looking forward to more content, take care.

You pay way too much for massages (can get them for 1/3 the price), but your overall total monthly budget is reasonable and a huge savings compared to US or Canada. I have visited Thailand 4 times, and am about to go again in 4 weeks (took a few years off by going to other countries like Philippines, Vietnam, Peru, Colombia, etc.). But in all my travels to Thailand (or PH/VT), I never paid more than $10-13 for a massage and always had a fantastic experience. So times 4.3 per month, that's like $43 - 56 per person per month. The prestige boutiques or hotel massages will be 2 to 5 times more expensive. So watch out for those.
@Onemadtony
@Onemadtony 15 күн бұрын
@@yuriyzenda5857 I think you are referring to Thai massage. The one we got is a bit different. if we switch to Thai massage it would probably go down by that much or if we switch place it might go down by up 25% but we just had some bad experiences. But thank you! There's a lot of places we wouldn't dare step foot in due to crazy prices haha

Great video Tony! It's really true that we need to be balanced and that life doesn't wait for us. We are so happy that we moved away from our cold home country to live in Thailand for the time being. @@Sita-Yim hi! Currently we invested in a mix of income (cc wtf, dividends), growth focused (sp500 passive index) and fixed income. It might be long to type it out in the comment but I can make a video breaking it down more. For Bitcoin wise, I like it but we have very little of it (less than 1% of total). In the end I still look at it as a speculative assets. I tried to view the whole investment as a business and it doesn't fit with the idea. If I were to have some I would personally keep it at under 7%.

My wife and I are subscribed to your KZbin channel and follow both of you on Instagram. We’re inspired by the way you’ve been living in Bangkok, Thailand, and would love to do something similar. We’re particularly interested in understanding how you calculated the monthly expenses needed to sustain your lifestyle in Bangkok. More importantly, we’re curious about the types of investments you’ve made, such as dividend stocks. Could you share details on how much you invested, which dividend stocks you chose, and how much income those investments generate monthly to support your life in Thailand? We’re eager to retire as soon as possible but are new to the concept of dividend investing. For example, we’d love to know which dividend stocks to consider and how much they’d need to generate for us to enjoy a similar lifestyle to yours. Thank you very much in advance.

Hello! Thank you so much! It would be a long one to answer but I'll try haha Budgeting in retirement wise we tried to break down to essential vs non-essential. The ratio of this to cashflow is the key I think. If it's 100 essential then you have no room for flexibility but if it's let say 50/50 you have a lot of room to be flexible with your budget. And now we can see and work that into how much cashflow we have coming in. Now cashflow, this is definitely going to come down to how much risk you are willing to take. The lower cashflow % is the less risk. I don't think I can fit it all into a comment reply but I'll try to put together and make a vid on it

Thai here. Health Land is a bit upscale but standard is very high and the place is super clean. You hardly will get a “bad” massager there. I usually have a local massage places near where I live as well in case I don’t wanna drive to Health Land. They charged about 400-500 per two hours of Thai massage. You gotta walk around your area (or read from Google reviews) try them out. If you find a good massager you like, write his/her name down. Next time, you call and book his/her name before you go and you are set. Tell them beforehand if you want “nuad nak nak” (hard massage) so they can give you a person who can do that if she/he is available.
